Scared to death?

Can you be scared to death? People like this phrase, but can you for real? I saw a biologist feed his captive predatory bird once with live mice, and each of the mice died just by looking at the bird. Can this happen to people, if you put people in some situation like that? How can you be scared to death?

Heart attack. Apparently, stonefish kills you with pain. It's so great that you have a heart attack.

Mice have very fast heart beats and if scared they can over do the speed and go into cardiac arrest.

I'm just slowly dying of grief, personally. That happened to a lot of people in Middle Earth, incidentally.

There's a lot of evidence of people dying of heart attacks during earthquakes and tornados. So yes if you have a weak ticker, it's possible.
