Scalise has a very selective memory. Obama didn’t “refuse to back up his red line in the sand”, Congress did. The US Congress and Senate refused to allow Obama to go into Syria. After 8 years in Iraq, the American people didn’t want to send more troop or spend more money in the Middle East. Obama was embarrassed but Congress stood firm.

Scalise also ignores the results of the Russia Investigation, the subpoenas, the indictments, the guilty pleas, and the results of the Senate investigation.

Scalise bends over backwards to blame Obama for this situation but the bald fact is that Putin is increasingly emboldened by his success in the US election and it’s time for some serious blow back against this asshole.

I strongly suspect that Trump will be seriously hobbled in his future dealings with Russia by Congress and the Senate, for the future security of the Republic.
