...but calling the man himself is akin to calling people like oh I don't know...

Jefferson, Adams, Madison, John Jay, George Mason, etc. crazy.

Because in their time, it was not smart at all to go against the largest empire the world had ever seen, but they were "crazy nuts" that wanted freedom. This is the same vein Ron Paul has spent his career defending and protecting as much as he can. Those who call him crazy do not understand liberty, do not understand their fortune at being born in this country, and do not understand what it takes to protect freedom.

PRO TIP: Voting for any other GOP candidate will only further screw the country up.

Ron Paul supporters are NOT crazy.

Misinformed perhaps, not fully aware of the shitstorm that would happen if Ron's economic and social plans were actually implemented.

But crazy?

Not hardly.

In many ways I think the Ron Paul partisans are the sanest of all the various partisans in either party.

They definitely DO understand that we cannot continue doing the same things and expect different outcomes.

That being said, that does not mean that just doing things differently is the answer, either.

We have to do different things, yes, but we also have to figure out what the right different things are, too.

Ron's solution is to take us back to the 18th century solutions that once made excellent sense.

Sadly, we don't live in the world where those 18th century political solutions will serve us very well.

This is incredibly stupid. The Revolution Era Americans wanted self determination, and they were willing to fight a war to achieve it. There's nothing crazy about that. Ron Paul is a medical doctor advocates that society should be premised upon a health care system that is so expensive it's inaccessible to many, and that those people deserve to die. Not only is Paul crazy, YOU are crazy for comparing THAT to the motivations of late 18th century Americans to achieve.

Maybe if you "crazy" Paulites didn't swarm the boards and spam thread after thread the reaction you received might be different. When you guys aren't swamping us with new threads your derailing others.

IT GETS VERY OLD

If telling the truth is derailing I am guilty as charged.

Generally, I think Libertarians have some really good points, and some decent ideas.... but, unfortunately, they are dangerously naive.

Anyone who labels Paul supporters "crazy" wants something of monetary value from our government... De facto socialists...

Of course there is a price to pay when a collectivist expects the government to support the collectivist...

People lose their freedom...

I suppose one cannot be free when one is brainwashed and indebted, not to mention envious and greedy.
