We do have health coverage for all. There is not a hospital in the US where a person cannot get treatment regardless of ability to pay. Free clinics abound. A huge percentage of the nation's hospitals are charitable institutions, where medical treatment costs for underprivileged are absorbed by the hospital. National health care will not only bankrupt the country, it will result in long waits, lists of people to be assigned to primary care providers (effectively taking all choice out of the hands of the population) and result in terrible health care as the norm instead of the exception. We'll join the ranks of Canada and Europe, and various and assorted socialist and communist countries who have shitty medical care for their people. We'll be paying more for a system that doesn't work.

Where do you think the money will come from for nationalized health care, genius? It will come directly from military funding, of course. Even you should be able to figure that one out. And if you want to see what happens when you underfund your military, read about the state of our military after the Carter years.
