Believe it or not, there is a HUGE campaign going on to save Daniel Goddard who portrayed Cane Ashby on The Young and the Restless. In case you don't know Y&R is a popular soap opera and THOUSANDS of Y&R viewers are e-mailing, snailmailing, tweeting, plus calling CBS and the Y&R voice mail/e-mail lines to keep him on the show. They are even going door to door with petitions. If you don't know what the heck am I talking about last Thursday, Cane a very popular character on Y&R was shot in the chest and died, he left behind a beautiful wife Lily and twin babies: Charlie and Matty. Cane has been a character on the show since 2007. Daniel the actor and Cane the character are both from Austrailia. If you've ever watched The BeastMaster, Daniel was Dar the main character. If you are interested in what's going on, go to Daniel Goddard on Facebook and believe me you will NOT BELIEVE the support this man is getting...it is absolutely mindblowing. And it's not only women, either. Other countries who watch Y&R have started their own campaigns to keep him on the show as Cane.
