One of the nation’s top radio talk-show hosts, Michael Savage of “The Savage Nation,” enthusiastically threw his considerable influence behind GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump Wednesday, declaring: “I’m for Trump. Point-blank. Best choice we have.”

Savage also called him the “Winston Churchill of our time.”

Savage Trump is Winston Churchill of our time

Trump isn't a conservative. He's playing a game for the highest stakes. He's a salesman, and will say whatever he needs to say to make the deal. The money he's earned on casinos has been at the expense of hard working Americans, taking advantage of their weaknesses. I don't listen to Savage, and I don't make decisions on whom I vote for based on the recommendation of anyone, including him.

I haven't listened to the Savage Nation in many years. However, I just listened to this interview and it was a good interview.

Illegal immigration is spot on. Again showing Trump wants to control the borders.

Voter I.D. was brought up, and Trump is for voter I.D. He commented on California and half the new drivers licenses there are illegals. Said the Mexican Gov't is smart as they and countries like China are taking us to the cleaners.

And said he's for Tariffs on these nations as it is not good for America.

Talked about special interest donations and how Jeb has raised 100 million, and Hillary 50 million. Said he knows the guys giving the money and they are doing it for something in return. Said that they are after what is good for there respective companies but that isn't the best for the American people. In other words, it's part of what is wrong with this country.

Touched on the V.A. and how that needs to be fixed. Said what we are doing to our Vets is terrible.

Touched on infrastructure and how we need to fix it. Didn't say how to pay for it though.

Touched on donations and said he'd rather not take donations and wanted average people to keep their money because they need it more than him. Willing to fund his own campaign, and is basically refusing to take the lobbyist money.

GREAT INTERVIEW. Thanks for bringing it up.

Considerable influence? LOL I mean you have to at least be in the same hemisphere re reality. Michail Sewage is vilified by conservatives! He has a niche audience of angries and his statement re Churchill is so beyond ludicrous as to not be worth the time to laugh at it.

He sure does have the libtards dancing, lol.
What gets me here is that he is openly against lobbyist to buy favors and business deals in Politics. I've seen so many complain about that here on the boards and he is refusing to be bought. Saying he'd rather use his own money than owe anybody any favors for donations. He pointed that out in this interview, and stated that what is best for the country is not what is best for America..........he pointed towards infrastructure which is another of their big topics. And yet they still ditch him...............

He also favors Tariffs which has always been one of their normal policy deals, which could bring back jobs in the current getting raped by China and Mexico on Trade. The libs are bitching about a guy that crosses normal party lines on Trade..............I'm against Free Trade Deals, and believe it must be changed to keep better paying jobs here. I part party lines on that as well and believe the TPP deal is terrible.

He also brought up the Iran negotiations.............said they aren't negotiators..........aka Kerry and Obama. On the four Americans being held it should have been brought up in the beginning.............right up front.............In other words, we don't negotiate anything unless they are released.................

The more I hear his talking points, the more I like Trump.

The more he slams the RINOs like Graham and McCain, the more I like him.

I wonder if he's referring to the Hitler Churchill or the Gallipoli Churchill.

.
It does not matter...same warmonger.
It was Churchill that pushed for the Rule of Ten to be made permanent. The Rule of Ten was why England's was not prepared for war with Hitler. When Chamberlain answered Hitler's demands, England had little to fight with because of this rule of ten and instead Chamberlain had to make surrender noises to Hitler.

that's be a Churchill who never got above 50% in an election. In 1940 he was just made PM, and then when he did win an election it was a really close thing and he got below 50% of the vote.

"considerable influence "

Funny stuff

He has to make an absurd comparison to get anyone to notice.

There is another thread about the GOP being the world's joke.
This would fit right in there.
