The problem with them is lack of due process. You can be sure some of the "terrorists" were guilty of nothing more than daring to oppose the regime in writing.

Meanwhile, they use our weapons to target civiclians...hmm, sounds a lot like "terrorists" to me...

In the late 90's, my ship pulled into Jiddah Saudi Arabia, and, as luck would have it, we were inport when they did the executions on Friday. The command said that we had to be back onboard 1 hour before the executions were to commence and muster would be taken. Then, an hour after the executions were concluded, we were allowed off the ship to go back on liberty.

Although I never saw an execution live and in person, I did have dinner with a family of American oil workers, who had taped one, and they showed it to us. Pretty gruesome stuff actually. And, they also told us how their appeals system worked..............if a person was convicted and sentenced to death, they could appeal their sentence once a month when the magistrate came around. If it was denied, they had 2 more times (2 months) that they could appeal. If they failed the 3rd time, they were executed the following week.

Nope, no long death sentence appeals over there.

I agree. Once they are sentenced they don't get twenty years on death row. They are executed post haste.

Sure, its possible that innocent people can be convicted in any country. Joe Arpaio was convicted illegitimately and had to be exonerated by President Trump, example given. Ditto with Colonel Oliver North by HW Bush who is beloved by libs.
