Were these people really funnier? No. Were they original? Yes. Skit comedy on TV was new when they started it. Dana Carvey, Mike Meyers, Chris Rock, Phil Hartman, Rachel Whig, etc...just as funny (if not funnier) than Chase, Curtain, Belushi, etc...
