Sarkozy concedes defeat

You have a point to make or are you just doing you're usual whinefest?

Do you actually have a point to make besides finding joy in another's misfortune ?
I don't think so.

There were also local elections in the UK these days...

UK Conservatives punished in local elections
UK Conservatives punished in local elections - Yahoo! News

The setback, two years after the Conservative-led coalition took office in 2010, saw the Tories lose about one-third of their seats in the contest for almost 5,000 seats across about half of the local authorities in England, Scotland and Wales. The opposition Labour Party made big gains countrywide.

The left-of-center Labour Party added more than 820 council seats, for a total of more than 2,150. The right-of-center Conservatives lost more than 400 seats, or about one-third, to total more than 1,000 seats. The Liberal Democrats lost 330 seats, for a total of 430 councilors. Elections took place Thursday, with the results announced Friday.

Local elections.... meaningless other than the SOP of bitchslapping whichever party is in power... and, interestingly enough... the Conservative candidate for Mayor of London (the incumbent) beat the equally well known Labour candidate. I notice you ignore that quite significant 'win' for the Conservatives.

Frankly, you seem to know very little about Europe - particularly the UK and France - other than what you read in newspapers. I have had the opportunity to live and travel in both... and both are terrific countries.

Stick to talking Turkey.... you seem more familiar talking turkey.

My Uncle the CBE Brit has lived in Paris since the 50's in Paris, with mansion in Normandie (and castle in the Dordogne the last 20 years) since the fifties, and nobody's going ANYWHERE, twit. Change the channel. Many english are moving to a France commute.

You are not this Ms. "Expert-on-French-issues" you portray to be.
And you're not a person to tell me what I should talk about and what not.
Who the fuck you think you are?

The location of residence also doesn't say anything about knowledge of foreign-countries.
But if you want to know, I live in Germany.
Around 60 kilometers from German-French border.

Cool. The BBC clearly lied... along with the real estate agents in London that they interviewed for the program. Damned right wing BBC, huh?:lol::lol:

They don't have to 'move', they just buy a house and split their time between the two countries, idiot.

Oh, and.... the English have been returning from France in their droves because of the Euro. Idiot.

Thinking before posting instead of regurgitating shit is always a good idea. Try it.

Never claimed to be an 'expert'. I claim - because it's true - that I understand how the European Union functions... I know how their laws work. I don't care where you live, it is irrelevant to me.

This isn't a cooking message-board and you shouldn't run around and deny people the ability to express their views on certain issues because you think you know it all better.

What happens in France and Europe is France and Europe's problem, because France decides to kill their economy and embrace the tried and proven keynesianism model of tax, collapse, inflation, and currency devaluation as a solution to the failure of governments to control spending, is not an excuse to follow suit. Simply put we are better than that, always will be, we are Americans, composed of the best and brightest, that had the common sense to flee failure for opportunity.

Pure pubcrappe LOL

Cal girl, you know what Murdoch's RW Tory rags tell you. The BBC bends over backwards to be fair to Tory a-holes, just like our lamestream does.

Why do you tell others what to do?

You are not the boss of anybody, now, are you?

Anyone likely has no idea that money, anymore, is actually credit(?). Credit Markets are subject to arithmetic. In France, the arithmetic went with the voters, to the Left!

Socialist Hollande in, Sarkozy out, as France elects a new president - CNN.com

The Compare and Contrast is with the Mitt Romeny/Dick Cheney, "Deficits Don't Matter" believers, of the spreading of of the credit only among the rich. The Compare and Contrast is with the Mitt Romney/Dick Cheney, "Deficits Don't Matter" believers of the hoarding of the money, among the rich.

The Mitt Romney family famously hoards all the money, keeping it from any cure-funding, even for Multiple Sclerosis research. Mitt Romney is actually on the record for spreading cold cereal around instead(?)! The family is MS afflicted, and the affliction clearly does not matter to them. Vice President Cheney most famously summarized the concept: "Ronald Reagan prooved that deficits Don't Matter!" Hoarding among the rich was still the fashion.

Civilizations know that deficits, actually, matter. The Ivy League is more with Dick Cheney, and contended for the hoarding of it among the teachers and the bureaucrats who caused the downturn in the first place. As soon as they could, the Republicans went further, and took the Schedule M, Refundable U. S. Income Tax Credit away from socialist market: Just starting to recover!

President Obama, and First Lady Obama: Both came out against going back to Mitt Romney/Dick Cheney again. That was just this very same weekend! Romeny may have actually been a Bush. The other one, however, was actually Dick Cheney! Ronald Reagan was clearly identified as the source material. Anyone knows that none of that money made it into the hands of millions, who turned to street gangs instead! France knows the problem.

"Crow, James Crow: Shaken, Not Stirred!"
(Now taking reservations, on Lands of Many Nations(?)! Monte Carlo understands the problem(?)!)

Hollande has won the presidency over Sarkozy. He plans to raise the tax rate there to 75% for top earners. This is Obamanomics gone wild. We know how this one will turn out.

This should provide the voters with a good lesson in the problem with socialism - if Obama hasn't already done that, that is.
