Did you know that Governor Palin increased Alaska's credit rating through her fiscal improvements? This is why Palin needs to be our next president so she can pull us out of this disasterous turmoil that Obama has put us in. She believes in total American exceptionalism for all of us. Obama lacks that belief and it is foreign to him due to his upbringing. He is tearing the foundation of this country apart. Palin is a true reformer that Washington needs so we can get back on track.
After Palin’s Tenure, AK’s Credit Rating Raised to Aaa | Conservatives4Palin

Of all current or former governors among the leading candidates for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination, no one’s record of dealing with his or her state’s debt and unfunded liabilities compares with that of Sarah Palin during her three fiscal years at the helm in Alaska.

The following analysis examines the growth of total debt outstanding and total liabilities, both on an actual and per capita basis, for Alaska under Sarah Palin, Massachusetts under Mitt Romney, Minnesota under Tim Pawlenty, Texas under Rick Perry, and Utah under Jon Huntsman

Maybe Sarah Palin should run for Governor of Alaska and then not quit.

That is irrelevant to the subject of the thread. Stepping down has not effected Palin in any way as the recent polling indicates in the GOP field. Again, Palin's record is the best in the GOP field of candidates. America needs Palin in order to get us out of this nightmare. She would have never done the things Obama has done to this country.

Are you implying that the economy of Alaska is the same as the economy of the United States?

That is why I suggested that she run for Governor of Alaska.

Alaska is the number 1 recipient, on a per capita basis, of tax dollars directed back to the states by the federal government. Alaska receives $1.82 in federal spending for every $1.00 it contributes in federal tax. Combined with its share of oil revenues, Alaska is hardly your typical state.

By resigning and working for FOX, Sarah Palin conveniently escaped most of the pressures of being a state governor during the recent recession. The net result is that Palin has gained little "hands-on" experience at guiding a government through tough economic times.

"These revelations have surfaced in a matter of days since McCain announced his choice of Palin for his running mate, and the public opinion is - he has made a very questionable choice to the point that his judgment is in question also."
