I'm not sure I understand where this thread is going. Does the left allege that the threats to Palin are similar to "soap stars" and small town mayors? I seriously doubt if many people are "fond of shooting soap stars or small town mayors" but it is tragically evident that some nut cases are willing to shoot successful and prominent female politicians. Is the left blind to the non-stop hate filled rhetoric directed at Palin in the last two years?
