Because if she's not, and she starts looking like a fool under withering questioning, McCain's going to regret this choice. It will not only look like he was being disengenous by pandering to women, but he picked an unqualified person to use for pandering.

She tried to use her public power to have her sister's husband fired, so that her sister would win a custody dispute.

She has only been governor for a few months!

God help us if this under-qualified nobody with a penchant for dirty politics gets her hands on the White House!

If you notice there is no one here claiming McCain to be some superstar who is going to save America. Hardly anyone even likes the guy. I can't argue with that now can I ?
