Sarah Palin - Already acting like the Republican Maverick she claims to be.

The prosecutor appointed by unanimous vote of the Alaskan legislature is going to meet on Friday to decide who to issue subpoenas to. He already has audio tapes, emails, and multiple witnesses that will testify that Palin abused her power as governor. She is guilty as hell.
There is no prosecutor. The lead investigator is a RETIRED public prosecutor, silly child.

It looks like Little O's supporters have already decided who will and will not be subpoenaed:

Alaska legislators are preparing to issue subpoenas as part of an investigation into Gov. Sarah Palin's handling of the "Troopergate" affair, but Palin herself won't be hit with one.

State Sen. Hollis French, the Anchorage Democrat who is managing the probe into Palin's firing of her former public safety commissioner, said legislators decided not to subpoena Palin as a gesture to calm what has become a tense standoff between the Legislature and the newly minted Republican vice presidential nominee.

"We're trying to de-escalate the situation. We just want the truth, clear the air," French said.

However, legislators still want their investigator to interview Palin.

Legislators also have decided to move up the date for completing their investigation into whether Palin abused her powers as governor by leaning on former Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan to fire a state trooper involved in a messy divorce with Palin's sister.

The Legislature's independent investigator, retired state prosecutor Steve Branchflower, will complete his investigative report on Oct. 10 rather than at the end of October, which would be right on top of the Nov. 4 election.

I'm sure it will be scrumptuous.

Doesn't sound like they share your level of faith; making concessions to "de-escalate" against someone who is supposedly SO-O-O-O guilty even you could see it.

You see, it's not politically viable to be seen trying to smear a govenor with 80+ percent approval ratings and trying to derail her VP campaign...a campaign that has no doubt brought a great deal of pride to the people of Alaska.

It seems Little O's supporters may be fearing an electoral backlash. Mr French--oh, the irony--is surrendering and seeking terms favorable to his own well-being.

oh and one more thing... when you use a work computer to communicate there is no such thing as private...

she can claim executive privilege if she is emailing her aides about policy but that seems unlikely to be the case since her husband was included in the emails.

hey, you, fucktard.... yeah I'm talking to you...the dumbass who wandered into a thread about Sarah Palin and started talking about everything but Sarah Palin... stay on topic or get the fuck out...

It was a REPUBLICAN who started this investigation because he suspected Palin's staff was participating in partisan activities while on government time so he filed a request for public access to the emails.

She's claiming executive privilege even though she cc'd Todd Palin on a good portion of those emails and those emails were pertaining to former rivals and journalists.
Such a tough guy.

An odd personality disorder.

Did the ObGyn leave the coat hanger in your brain?

You still have no reason to see those emails unless you have probable cause to suspect a crime was committed. She doesn't have to release email just to pacify the short bus renegades.

It's called real life. Learn to cope.

I'll be interested as to when they end up on the internet.

If it's up to her? Probably after the election if never.

If not? Well with emails, whatever you say ends up in cyberspace forever.
