The meltdown commences.

And then there's O, who actually passed a law that gets up all in the bedroom with birth control and contraception and also invokes religion to pass laws. Lets get O out of the bedroom.

Unless the GOP can pull another candidate out of a hat, the Democrats will continue to do the happy dance through the election. They're already smelling paydirt with Romney and Santorum. Which one ends up being the nominee is essentially irrelevant at this point - both have myriad holes. Anyone whose vision is not distorted by partisan ideology can see this pretty clearly now, and the polls are reflecting it.

The Republicans had better worry more about the House and Senate, losing all three pieces would look like a mandate, and the last freakin' thing this country needs is one party or the other thinking it has a mandate to shove 100% of its agenda down our throats.

.

Yeah, we can't compete with a POTUS that can't tell the truth, can't brag about his record, is trying to weaken this country militarily and economically, and has no ideas on jobs growth other than tax the rich.

We're really scared. .

Tax rates are lower than anytime in forty years....thanks to George Bush. You people continuously harp about low taxes being the key to more jobs. Where the fuck are they

The difference between Santorum and obama is that Santorum would welcome any baby and obama doesn't want his daughters punished with a baby.

Republicans don't need to be "scared", they just need to realize their chances of winning the White House in November aren't particularly good with either of these two guys.

Perhaps I'm missing something. Perhaps there is some objective, empirical evidence or data that makes Republicans think that either Santorum or Romney can be expected to beat Obama. Note: "Objective, empirical evidence or data" would not include "Obama's a socialist" or "Obama's a Muslim" or "Obama hates America".

.

So.....Santorum says something that is provocative......and true and he's wrong while Obama says something provocative and completely untrue and he's right?

Rick Santorum cannot beat Barack Obama because he is way too far right on social issues.

Language cost Coloradoans a republican senate seat in 2010. Ken Buck on a Face the Nation interview decided to go off on homosexuals--in his statement--Homosexuality is like a disease, similar to alcoholism--and he ended up losing in a race he should have won by that SINGLE COMMENT.

After the vote was counted--it was determined that he lost the female vote in this state.

Rick Santorum is much more vocal on his social draconian 17th century social stances--and he would lose in a landslide against Barack Obama. And Santorum is much farther to the right on social issues than Ken Buck was. You see even pro-life conservative women understand the abortion issue in the case of rape or incest--and they also understand that homosexuality is NOT a choice. And they believe in the use of birth control contraceptives. All of which Santorum is vocally against.

Santorum is mainstream with the rest of America. He sounds "draconian" to those on the coasts because those people's only principle is "Me-Me-Me"

I thought Donald Trump and Rick Perry were the two worst candidates the RNC could ever run up a flag pole, but Rick Santorum has managed to take the top spot.

Translation: You're right but I can't think of any way to refute it.

Well there is a Fuck of a lot more to it then just taxes, certainly more will not move the private sector into hiring,or the consumers to spend more now will it?

To think that giving this fiscally dysfunctional gov. MORE will make things all better, your head is not where it should be.

The Republicans have been yelling that lower taxes create jobs ever since Reagan. Bill Clinton raised taxes in 1993-94 and during his presidency the economy ran better and created 22 million jobs. Trickle Down didn't work...........unless you count the warm piss which ran down what used to be the middle class' back.

I want you to look closely at this chart. George W. Bush cut taxes twice, 2001 and 2003. After Clinton had this chart heading toward a correction for the upper 1% after Bush's second tax cut it shot up again:

I see from this chart, that you are too stupid to read, that everyone's income increased. Doubtless you think increasing incomes are a bad thing. But I'll let Lady Thatcher explain this to you:
