Feb. 13 (Bloomberg) -- Republican presidential contender Rick Santorum has vaulted into a front-runner's position with Mitt Romney in a Pew Research Center poll that also shows both losing to President Barack Obama in hypothetical matchups.

Santorum drew the backing of 30 percent of Republican and Republican-leaning registered voters in the Feb. 8-12 poll, while Romney got 28 percent, Pew said on its website. Obama held a 10-percentage-point lead over Santorum and an edge of 8 points over Romney among a survey of all registered voters, Washington- based Pew said.

Oh goody, a choice between a liberal, a liberal/conservative and a theocrat. Looks like I'll write in Ron Paul this time around, too...

I'll vote for Santorum if given the choice, because unlike Obama and Romney, at least you know what you are getting.

I am starting to seriously look at Gary Johnson and the Libertarians for November, though.

Funny how the R's had a fit about contraception but love Santorum's bizarre and very creepy Peeping Tom platform.

Like I said, they'll do as they were told -

Even if it means cutting off their own noses.

I find it hard to believe that Santorum could actually beat Romney's millions.

Did the results from Maine ever get finalized?

Now wait just a frakin minute!

Where is Ron Paul in all this?
A thread said he polled higher than Obama? And he is not even in the top3?

He shoulda got out the blimp.

Not until that last country votes, but it's unlikely Paul will pull ahead by the 194 votes he needs.

The Republicans have already said that the last county will not count if Ron Paul wins.

They are crooked as a dog's hind leg!

I hope this fool Romney breaks both his and the LDS's bank accounts. Then some vulture capital co...maybe his old co. Bain can part out thier assets.. WOW!!! would THAT be justice???

I imagine you can find a poll that says Catholics love Barry but it don't mean diddly.

Ask a few women how they feel about Republicans not wanting to pay for their health care.

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Inappropriate laughter aside I imagine that you can find a push poll that fulfills any socialist vision of America you can dream about but the only poll that counts is in November and lefties seem very nervous about that one.

For a Republican "socialism" is any money spent on the non wealthy.
