I am more concerned that the punitive creeps are hurting the states where we pay state and local taxes by taking away that deduction. for me that is a lot of money. the fact that you can now write off a private plane but I have to pay tax on my state tax is disgusting and immoral.

Why should they? I thought thats what they were supposed to be all about. They have all three branches of govt and they dont do it and increase debt instead. All I hear from them for years is fiscal responsibility and decreasing the debt. I mean they are outspoken about it. And then all I see is them increasing the debt every time they are in power. To be more accurate, added corporate taxes either increase prices, reduce dividends or reduce wages.
Most likely some combination of all three.

That may make sense if you're not working for other corporations. My business is based on on providing services to other, mostly larger, corporations. If their taxes are high, my taxes are high. They come to me as a place to cut costs, my taxes are high, how do I cut costs? The idea that you just raise costs to the consumer looks good on paper, unfortunately the usual answer is move production out of the US.
