San Juan Mayor Wears T Shirt Saying "Help Us We Are Dying"

Get someone with a damn clue about how to get a road cleared and put them in charge.

In back to the future, professor doc brown said "we don't need no stinkin roads"

As they said in the 6 million dollar man, "we have the technology"

3000 shipping containers full of food, water, clothing and who knows what else sitting in port and only 4% of them getting anywhere.

If only the army had a solution.

If only you and that dumb ass mayor realized a container can be unloaded onto smaller vehicles and the good could get out. You don't need the Army you need people that work.
You need roads for them to get the goods from the port to the offshore villages and towns...

Not brand new ones. Clear the debris off enough to get a vehicle through.

Right... they can start "clearing" now... they should reach some of those villages and towns by next May... long after all the residents are dead.

No... what's needed now is a massive airlift... send a lot more heavy-lifter -type helicopters down there... yesterday.

Then... once the immediate crisis has past... set them to work, clearing and repairing existing roads, to reestablish communications...

Once they have some breathing space, set them to rebuilding and improving their roads, to withstand such stress and strain in the future.

So sit on your ass and wait for a big shipment instead of moving what you can in smaller amounts. Genius.

The whole point of the exercise is that they cannot even do that, to an extent sufficient to keep a village or town on its feet...

Many roads will be blocked for weeks or months with debris, despite efforts to clear them... others have caved-in or have been washed-away...

By all reports, basically, THERE ARE NO ROADS in many areas at-present...

What are they supposed to do? Walk on air? Star-Trek transporter? Magic lamps and genies? Wormholes?

Enlighten us, oh Wise One.

This crazy bitch is just trying to cover up her own inability to run her city...and she wants to cover up her absolute theft of American tax dollars....

Or instead of using manpower they don't have, it takes 5 times as many people to transfer a load, as to ship it where it's going.

The obvious solution is to use sky cranes, which don't need the roads to the ports to be cleared, or the ports to have power.

Trump should send in 82nd Airborne and remove the mayor so the relief can finally get delivered

The roads are GONE.

The "smaller vehicles" cannot get to the where the supplies are.

That copter can only carried one bulldozer at a time. The mayor wants faster results. There's a lot of things that is going on that is slowing the process.

Frustrating photos show row after row of shipping containers stacked at the Port of San Juan with no drivers to pick them up. P.R. fears slow U.S. relief efforts could be too little, too late

Thousands of shipping containers full of food, water, and medicines were sitting unused at Puerto Rico's Port of San Juan.

Relief workers haven't been able to distribute the goods, in part because only about 20% of Puerto Rico's truck drivers have reported back to work since Hurricane Maria swept through, according to a representative for Puerto Rican Gov. Ricardo Rosselló.

On top of that, Puerto Rico has a shortage of diesel fuel, which is needed to power the semi-trucks. Downed power lines and debris still litter roadways, blocking routes. Even contacting local drivers is an issue because cell service blackouts still cover the majority of the island.

Teamsters spokesman Galen Munro told CNN that the union hopes to get more drivers on the ground next week.

Fine. Investigate her ass. And, if wrongdoing is found, prosecute her ass and throw her in a Federal slammer and throw away the key.

Meanwhile, our fellow Americans in Puerto Rico are suffering, and our response so far has been embarrassingly inadequate... time to fix that.

They are air lifting supplies in stupid....they have been for days now dummy. She took tax dollars sent to them for burying their power and communication lines like most island nations in the region and she spent it elsewhere. She took hard earned tax dollars sent to them by us for road improvement years ago and miss spent that money as well to gain favor...now she is pointing her finger at Trump? She is as whacked as any progressive liberal slime and deserves all of the criticism she is getting.
