Probably stuck in remote villages, and blown away by the storm.

Geezus, you're basing your actions in an emergency on a fictional tv show?

Can't get their gear and get to a base or at least get together and do something huh. That's a stellar force right there.

Many are first responders in civilian life. Fire, Police, EMT's busy rescuing people in their local towns and villages.

    Irrelevant... much like your ideas.

In a family with a father, a mother, two or three children, and grandparents, you have... what?.. one able-bodied person?... two?... capable of making the trek?

How many gallons of water can YOU carry on your back, for 5 or 10 or 20 miles, up and down treacherous mountainous terrain and jungle-like underbrush, bright boy?

Enough for a family of 6 or 7 for a few days?

As well as enough food and critical medicines and first-aid supplies and blankets and flashlights and clothing for that family of 6 or 7, for a few days?

Wow... you (or even two like you) can carry all that? For that kind of distance? Up and down such terrain and hazards?

You must be one helluva mountain of a man who puts all others to shame, eh, Paul Bunyan?

Your idiotic objections in this vein have already been dealt with.

Much is stacked-up at the ports... their roads and cave-ins and wash-outs prevent those goods from reaching their intended destinations, in many instances.

Good thing for me that I'm not a Left Winger, then, isn't it, Princess?
