Homos and their liberal/progressive friends want to completely PC our nations language and re-name everything to accommodate their warped agenda.

So why don't they come up with a special word to accurately describe their perverted same sex union?

Your missing the point. He is willing to forgoe calling a civil union marriage in exchange for the same rights under the law as married partners have. Quite frankly governments should get out of the marriage business. Governments should recognize civil unions only and a justice of the peace should only perform civil unions. Leave marriage to the clergy to perform on whatever people their religion deems appropriate. It is no business of the state but it is also not the business of the state to discriminate.

But that goes full circle right back to really useless semantics again. What that is advocating for is taking marriages and then calling them ‘civil unions’ without any real point. It does not matter what you call the damn thing and it seems pointless to call them civil unions.

The problem as pointed out, civil unions don't provide all the same rights. That needs to be fixed whether it is a hetero or homo couple marrying at the courthouse. Make them equal, get the state out of marriage and be done with it
