Much of the EU's immigration problems came from nations they themselves instituted not the EU. Specifically look at France and the UK.

The current refugee problems were created by US. We invaded Iraq and just fucked up the region. Those refugees would be coming regardless of whether the EU existed. The EU is responding albeit too slowly for some. But if you think that breaking up the EU will halt the refugee crisis, you are sadly mistaken. It will get worse and tensions will mount. Well we all know the end of the story when nationalism flames burn and tensions mount in Europe.
