~Sad Songs~

This may pertain to females more than it does the men, but can you think of any sad songs?? Songs that may make a tear fall??
For me it's definitely Bread, Everything I Own.--that would be in memory of my Mother.
Then also Bette Midler's- Wind Beneath My Wings-- we had that played at my Mother's funeral, and if I happen to hear it playing anywhere, I will stop and have to reach for a Kleenex.
ToTo has a song from the 80s, called I Won't Hold You Back Now...I think it's sad.
Also to me, Elvis Presley's -You Were Always On My Mind was rather sad~
Nickelback- Never Gonna Be Alone.
Of course, there are so many country songs that are sad, but I can't think of any right now

Elvis Presley recorded the song way back when he and Priscilla divorced. So, I'm not saying it's not Willie's song, but Elvis did make it a record first. And I like Elvis' version better than Willie's.

Omg, strolling, you just gave me chills.
This song was one that was reminded me of my Mother and Dad.
I was sitting in a Cracker Barrel restaurant when it started to play once (they both has recently passed away), and the tears came to my eyes.
Great song!!

If it is bothersome I can make it smaller. That bible verse means a lot to me personally. It was the first verse I ever learned taught to me by my paw-paw. He taught me that if I could learn to be content with what I have then I could slow down and really enjoy the blessing that God gives me. It has worked wonderfully for me. When you stop chasing after the newest and brightest you can learn to enjoy the simple things in life.

Ohmigosh strolling, you must have a list of what my parents listened to.
They loved this oldie stuff.
Of course, when I was the little girl in the backseat, I hated the stuff!
But when I hear it now, my mind drifts back and I think of my Mother and Dad.....and how much I miss them.

I like younger men too........but I like my music somewhat newer, but that's not to say, some of the old stuff isn't good
