SACRED AND HALLOWED GROUND?

LMAO. Two blocks from where the World Trade Center stood? Build the damn mosque. What make the ground sacred and hallowed? And who deem it to be so?
Hallowed? “worthy of religious veneration.” What is a mosque? Holy. Sacred.

The ground isn't sacred, but was hallowed with over 3,000 fellow American lives.
Enough fellow Americans, with the OP's exception, deem it to be so.
A mosque is some future 'arms' warehouse? As a result, it is unholy, sacred to only those who believe in jihad and a caliphate.
What a 'pip' it would be in the future, to re-explode the same site twice.
Hopefully, fellow American New Yorkers, will not let this happen! :clap2:

How many of those 3000 died where the mosque is being built?

What is the acceptable radius for the wicked muslims to build their Temple of Hate?

2 blocks?
6 blocks?
All of Manhattan?

Within 1 block, facing the WTC, across the street, IS too close.
Why not build it in Jersey City, ex-home of the blind Iman?

How about we play it safe and ban the religion entirely?

If this was'nt meant as an "in your face" kind of move on Islams part, then why is it being opened on the 10th anniversary of Sept 11th?

SCREW THAT!

Yeah, that's NOT where the planned center is.

It's NOT within one block.
It's NOT across the street.
It's NOT facing the WTC site.

Check google maps.

It's on Park Place, between West Broadway and Church.

If you're going to be ignorant, at least be factual about it.

If this is meant as an "in your face", why where plans for it put into play in the 80s?

Is it all a great big conspiracy?

And, it's NOT opening on the 10th anniversary. Construction isn't even planned to start until next year. Don't believe everything you read on the internet.

Let them build whatever building they so desire. We have the freedom of religion. Who are we to tell a person where they can or can't build a Holy Edifice to God?

So how do you feel about the main guy behind it wanting America to be "more shiria Compliant." ?

If you have to ask, it's not worth explaining.

Well..the only thing that kinda pisses me off is that the Mosque will be built before the New Yorkers finish the rebuild at the 9/11 site.

It's just plain embarrassing...

It has nothing to do with being near the WTC site. It's simply that it's a mosque. Period.

To some, they don't want mosques built anywhere in the U.S.

Islam is not a trans-globally organized religion, it has many kinds, sections, sects, subsects, divisions, etc. Islam didn't mean to do anything .... it's just the people that want to build the Mosque, not the non-existent entity of Islam. It's not like the Catholic Church, there is no 'central authority' such as the Pope.

I just wanted to clear that up.
