    i agree. you strengthen families you weaken the dependence on government. Glad to see my Senator is being outspoken.

    I am more pro family but small government. But still I like the fact that Santurom us out there fighting for what he believes in and most of what he believes in is the way I view things.

    I saw this on Instapundit, thank you so much for posting it Kathianne. This is really a fascinating debate that will begin to reshape the Republican party, and I think will ultimately strengthen the political and social composition of this country. That is, if everyone doesn't start employing scorched-earth political, religious and social warfare and ruining the debate....

    Santorum is very wise to stage this as a secular debate, which hopefully will keep some of the fanatics on both sides of that debate out of this one.

    I do not agree with him however, though I find his case compelling and valid.
