S&P 500--highest since 2007

the Stock Market is looking kindly to the future ... at present and likes the new kid on the block, "Mr. Trillion".

Did it occur to anyone the market has gone up because the debt ceiling and spending cuts debate got pushed down the road again? I don't consider pushing a problem down the road yet again great leadership by anyone Dem or Rep. So before we let the good times roll let's see how the market reacts in a few months when were facing the same problem yet again?

Isn't this the same stock market that the Right always wants to put their SS payroll tax into?

Isn't it odd that those same people scoff at the stock market when it does well?

I have money in the market...that's not the point.

The point is the disparity.

Yes, the stock market is doing great...far outpacing the economy.

But so far, the economy still sucks.

Maybe the market is an indicator that the economy is actually on the rebound...but then again, maybe not.

Maybe the market is artificially inflated by cheap money.

The bottom line is exactly what I posted...the stock market is not the economy.

As usual, Obama gets credit for nothing, but the blame for everything.

the markets have far outpaced inflation ... and that is a trick considering the markets are a hedge against inflation when the opposite is true.
