Fact: The Tea baggers were unheard of, hell, INVISIBLE during the Bush years. This in spite of their contention that their 'outrage' is focused on run-a-way government spending. No one heard of a Tea Bagger until after the McCain concession speech.

Fact: The demographics of the Tea Bag movement suggest a firm hold on white women with little or no higher education. There is precious little diversity among these folks.

In my opinion the Tea Bag movement uses racism as the fulcrum to rest the lever of the effort to de-legitimize the first Black president. It's transparent.

Racism, anti semitism, bias against nationality of origin; these are all still a facotr in the US and probably will be for years to come.

Anyone who denies there are racists at the tea parties is one that is naive. There are racists in every large gathering. In every company, every legislature, every community.

But attaching racism to the tea party is disingenuous, and I am saddened that members of congress are either not aware that it is everywhere or aware, but want to fool the American people and make it an isolated situation for political expediency.

Either way, congress should be ashamed of themselves.

Please show me any indication that other races (other than white) are not permitted to attend the tea parties.
