I would contribute, but I don't know any Russian songs.
When you listen to this, you'll know a Russian song They are a bit drunk and the song is very Russian
Everybody who watched Red October knows this one:
It's quite beautiful.
Similar in its musical power and impact to The Star Spangled Banner.
Russia since the times of Catherine The Great has always been a counterweight internationally to the powers of France, England, Japan, Germany, and the USA.
Without a Russia in the world, the USA would simply become the USSA.
One of the most inspiring official anthems in history in my opinion
The post- Communist one is the same anthem with new lyrics
Russia National anthem Russian & English lyrics - YouTube
Absolutely - the old Soviet anthem (my grandmother told me how they listened to it for the first time) with new words
The two Russian songs I know off the top of my head...
First is Varvara singing the Russian folk classic Katyusha. Yes, I know I have posted this version before, the GuP version I wanted to post here has been taken down. GRRR! Still, I can look at Varvara without getting bored:
The next piece, as it only could be performed by the late Eduard Antonlyevitch Khil, I Am So Happy to Finally Be Back Home, (better known as the Troll Song):
So, Comrade, how much are the Веб-бригады getting paid these days?
Separate names with a comma.
