Russian missiles to take aim at US base in Poland: report
10.11.2017 12:14
Russia will aim its missiles at a US military base in Redzikowo, northern Poland, which Moscow considers to be a threat, according to Russian military expert Igor Korotchenko, the Rzeczpospolita daily has said.

The daily said Iskander-M ballistic missiles, which have a range of about 400 kilometres, would be set up at the Chernyakhovsk air base in the Kaliningrad exclave after the base in Redzikowo, located some 300 kilometres away, becomes operation-ready sometime next year.

Citing Polish general Jarosław Stróżyk, a former NATO deputy intelligence chief, Rzeczpospolita said that Moscow would use the presence of US missile defence in Poland to justify the base finding itself within range of Russian missiles.

Stróżyk added that in 2010 Moscow launched a plan to replace Tochka missiles, which have a range of 50-120 kilometres, with Iskander ballistic missiles in all its rocket brigades by 2020, according to Rzeczpospolita.

Of 12 such units, ten are already fitted out with Iskander missiles, and only brigades in Chernyakhovsk and Kursk are yet to be upgraded, the daily said. (vb)

Just imagine what would happen if Russia does have a a military base somewhere in Canadian Hamilton.USA will bomb it immediately.According to your 'logic' Russians are idiots and must tolerate US nukes directly on Russia's border.

They do though, tolerate nukes on their border, don't they?
