Will anything come of this or will it be ignored because we own NATO & the UN?

Russia's U.N. envoy on Monday demanded there be a thorough investigation of civilians killed in NATO air strikes during its military operations in Libya, which led to the ouster and death of former leader Muammar Gaddafi.

Ambassador Vitaly Churkin was reacting to news reports about civilian deaths caused by NATO. Reuters reported on Friday that human rights groups estimated over 50 civilians were killed by the air strikes, while the New York Times published on Sunday an estimate of 40 to over 70.

Churkin told reporters the NATO alliance has so far failed to provide the U.N. Security Council with details about civilian casualties.

"Unfortunately NATO adopted a pure propaganda stand, claiming zero civilian casualties in Libya, which was completely implausible, first of all, and, secondly, not true," he said.

Churkin said he would raise the issue in the 15-nation Security Council on Thursday.

"We hope that NATO is going to revisit this entire problem, is going to investigate this matter," he said, adding that the United Nations could help with the investigation.

Will it be reported that French intelligence forces were the actual drivers of Libya's civil war and Gaddafi's assasination? That France stood to bear the brunt of the short-term economic hit from Gaddafi's plans to take Libyan petroleum off the dollar standard? That the leading candidate in upcoming French presidential elections Dominique Strauss Kahn was in favor of taking OPEC oil off the dollar standard? That DSK was conveniently arrested and silenced in NYC on bogus rape charges as the US and France were overthrowing Gaddafi? That to do this, the US State Dept overruled DSK's diplomatic immunity and allowed him held without bail until literally the day after he formally resigned as head of the IMF from his NYC jail cell? That charges against DSK weren't dropped and he wasn't allowed to leave NYC until literally the day after NATO led 'rebel' forces sacked Tripoli?

Don't count on Fox News reporting any of this lol

Fox News wasn't the only Media Outlet cheerleading for the Libyan War. Far from it. They all lined up to support it. So the shot at Fox News was pretty weak. I do agree with your take though. There was definitely more to that War than most understand.

I agree that the entire media is careful not to go against our status quo Middle East policy. But I singled out Fox News because its second largest shareholder is the Saudi Royal Family; so even if the status quo of the American consciousness were to shift regarding Middle East policy and the mainstream media were to go along with it, Fox News would likely still be pushing the Neocon agenda.

American MSM pushes what they're told to push. I didn't see a single opposing viewpoint on the Libyan War presented by any of the major MSM News Outlets. It was all 'RAH RAH RAH!' for War. It's just like their take on 911. Opposing viewpoints on the 911 story simply aren't allowed in MSM. Anyone who dares to question the Government story on 911 is immediately labelled a crazed 'Conspiracy Nut.' So i hear what you're saying but it's not just about Fox News. It's the entire MSM.

Looks like this will be another Bosnia-type cover-up by the UN and NATO. We'll probably never know how many civilians were killed by NATO in Libya.
