In a move likely to test how supine Donald Trump and his national security adviser, Michael Flynn, will be once Russia attacks a NATO member state, last week, Russia deployed short-range Iskander-M ballistic missiles to Kaliningrad (formerly Königsberg, East Prussia). The NATO countries of Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, and eastern Germany (including Berlin) are now within range. Bearing in mind that Trump called NATO "obsolete" and Michael Flynn is particularly friendly to Putin, should European NATO states begin to worry?

Russia's economy isn't doing all that well, so Putin doesn't want any kind of war, ESPECIALLY with America and a new bunch of HARD ASS, TAKE NO SHIT people in charge of the military and defense.

This is a final insult to the little push over muslim boi. Putin has pimped him for 8 years and genuinely dislikes him, as do many other world leaders. The kenyan has been a laughing stock militarily for 8 years who's coddled our enemies and insulted our allies.

Putin: NATO, for example, established during the Cold War and clearly out of date today, despite all the talk about the need to adapt to the new reality, no real adaptation takes place.

But they continue to churn out threats, imaginary and mythical threats such as the ‘Russian military threat’. This is a profitable business that can be used to pump new money into defence budgets at home, get allies to bend to a single superpower’s interests, expand NATO and bring its infrastructure, military units and arms closer to our borders.

Of course, it can be a pleasing and even profitable task to portray oneself as the defender of civilisation against the new barbarians. The only thing is that Russia has no intention of attacking anyone. This is all quite absurd.

It is unthinkable, foolish and completely unrealistic. Europe alone has 300 million people. All of the NATO members together with the USA have a total population of 600 million, probably. But Russia has only 146 million. It is simply absurd to even conceive such thoughts. And yet they use these ideas in pursuit of their political aims.
