Rush Limbaugh's Stimulus Package

No its republican policies which are expensive.

Look what their choices have done to this country

Let me break this to you... It's not the Republicans that are raping our future generations with this 1 trill spending spree...Just FYI, since you couldn't figure that one out yourself.

Absolutely right...except for the fact that BUSH II expanded the national debts by $5 TRILLION during his eight year reign of error.

FWIW I expect that the national Debts will double in the next 8 years to something like $25 TRILLION.

And no, I am not happy about that, either.

Actually, I kind of like this idea, though I'd put more towards payroll tax deduction rather than corporate tax cuts. I'd also waive the maximum allowable losses on capital losses from $3000 to the amount which would bring taxes down to zero for the next two years.

This is what MOST people are calling for, because it makes SENSE.

Liberals need to understand that the economy doesn't revolve around Joe Taxpayer, it revolves around Joe Businessowner. Until businesses have a GOOD REASON to throw their money out there, we'll be sitting stagnant.

Go ahead, raise taxes. See how well that works out for you.

It's really sad that the President of the United States would make any talk show host (entertainer) this important in our nations workings and most of all at such a important time like this.

The guy puts on a show to provide an income for himself. He rants and carries on, he entertains people, just as Bill Mar does and just as so many others do.

I can take Limpballs with a grain of salt, but, what bothers me is that Obama and his team makes a person like this so important.

I must be in the minority in that thinking.

Do I listen to Limpballs? Sure on occasion I do, just as on occasion I tune in Bill Mar. They are both pompous asses and I can only take so much of them, but, they can also be pretty funny and rip off some good satire. Lately though thanks to Obama, I have been listening to Rush everyday and not just for my normal 30 minutes, but, for his entire show. So I wonder, how many others who normally would not tune Rush in are now thanks to Obama?

This is all part of BO's reaching across the isle.... and part of his plan to stimulate the economy plan.. free advertisement on a national level for the dittoheads.. should increase his viewer$hip..

What we need is a bunch of unbiased professionals evaluating our economy and instituing economic policies based on the fundamental principles of the U.S. Constitution and Declaration of Independance.

With special consideration for the parts about "Government for the people and by the People", "all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights".

I wonder what you would call such a group of people? "Democrats" perhaps?

The only reason why the economy has revolved around Joe the Businessman is because Joe the Taxpayer has been stupid enough to allow it. Joe the Taxpayer is alot smarter than he was back in the 1930s, and if Joe the Businessman doesn't smarten up real soon, there aren't going to be any Joe the Businessmans very soon.

Capitalism is a luxury, and once Joe the Taxpayer finds that it's a luxury that he cannot afford, goodbye Joe the Businessman.

Personally, I like luxuries and would like to keep them, but when it comes to my children starving, I gotta guillotine with your name on it.

Revolutions are not caused by communists, leftist or other ideologoues, they're casued by extremely pissed off people. Remember that even here in America, the battle of Lexington and Concorde happened long before the Declaration of Independance - no ideology just anger.

Joe the Businessman has the power now, to turn this economy around, and he'd better take his head out of his own asshole for once and develop some sense of responsibility. For his own sake.

Potentially, yes. Anyone who has the slighest knowledge of history, can figure that out. But I tend to foresee it, more probably, as a slow but steady conversion to socialism. Hopefully in a civilized and peaceful way.

You've watched the storming of the Bastille one too many times. Who are you planning on chasing with a pitchfork ?

I, myself, am doing very well financially, so I don't anticipate chasing anyone with any pitchforks. But, I'm realistic enough to understand that the events of history are very real and we are not immune to the same circumstance that those of the past have suffered through.

Just because, you in your life time have never experienced the brutality that usually comes with massive economic depravation, do not be fool enough to believe that it couldn't happen here and now.

Oh I'm well aware of the dangers of a collapsing economy but if you think it's Joe Businessman that will be hurt the worst, you're nuts.
