Rush Limbaugh Compares Obama To Biracial Oreo Cookie

Is the thread-starter the same one who, the other day, referred to gays as faggots? If so, you get no sympathy from me.

Probably. Having said that, I think Limbaugh is back on Oxy again.

Rush is just desperate for attention at this point. His radio show still has its millions of retarded fans,

but he can't get arrested in the rest of the media nowadays. It must burn his fat ass.

The only way that narcotic abuser can get any press/ad revenue is to say stupid things to his gullible conservative audience.

Only after I called him on singling out 'whites' on both sides. Personally, I just dislike racism.... and I don't give a rat's ass what color that racist is.

This reminds me of an idiot on another forum that insisted that everyone type out the Pledge of Allegiance or he'd think those that didn't hated America.

what if you left out "under God" when reciting it?
LOL! I think he was a non-believer.

Since Rush considered it racist when allegedly oreo cookies were thrown at Michael Steele some years ago,

I guess we can be content to use Rush's own standard in judging Rush.

Story #2: Kraft to Launch Triple Double Biracial Oreo

RUSH: Kraft Foods is gonna launch a new Oreo. (interruption) Ho! You ought to see how that got Snerdley's attention. It's a triple double Oreo. Do you like Oreos, is that it? Well, what it's gonna be here... (interruption) It's actually a biracial cookie. You've got three of the chocolate wafers, and then you've got the white vanilla cream, and then there's a chocolate cream. So you have the thing that says OREO on it, the wafer, and then you got the white cream, then you got other chocolate wafer, then you got the chocolate cream and you got the bottom wafer. The triple double Oreo. You wait, it isn't gonna be long before it's gonna be called the Orbameo or something like this. (interruption)

Well, it's a biracial cookie here, and this story is from the Chicago Tribune, and it's all about Kraft juicing up its investment in the Oreo in recent years. Legitimate business. (interruption) Do I know you get Oreos in ice cream? Yeah, I know that. I'm not big ice cream fan, but I know that you can do that. I know that you can. You know what, driving the other day past McDonald's, you know these...? What are they called, Rollos, these caramel things that come in a roll? McDonald's is putting those in their soft ice cream or shakes or whatever. I saw that the other day, yeah. In the midst of all this talk of obesity. I mean, every time Michelle Obama goes out there (laughing) and starts talking about healthful eating, the food industry responds with, "Oh, yeah? Take this," and Kraft comes up with the Orbameo, the triple double dipper.

Here's the excerpt. I guess Kraft is racist too, since they plan on using Shaq and Venus Williams in their cookie ads.

He is commenting on the possiblity that a business will try to market using Obama. Wow, this is 'racist'? lol.

Some people need to seriously get a fucking sense of humor.

As he pointed out to you, he has.

Only after I called him on singling out 'whites' on both sides. Personally, I just dislike racism.... and I don't give a rat's ass what color that racist is.
That's why I told him to bring up other names from now on before he accuses a "conservative" of racism.

This reminds me of an idiot on another forum that insisted that everyone type out the Pledge of Allegiance or he'd think those that didn't hated America.

But you seem to enjoy making the Bass jump through hoops for some odd reason.

He singled out 'white' racists, not me. I have a generic dislike of racism. I don't care what color the racist is. That's just the way I roll. Tricky bitch - I hold everyone to the same standard.

Rightwingers are cowardly to call racism out on other retards from the right, not unexpected.

You're getting a tad 'one trick pony' with this Charlie.... as well as a tad hypocritical. I didn't see a thread from you calling out Obama with the 'typical white people' comment. That was just as racist as Rush's stupidity. More so, really, being as he's the President and all that. I tend to be more concerned with racists in Government, than some idiot on the radio.

You took Obama's comment out of context, plus Rush Limbaugh has a history of continually making racially insensitive comments, no hypocrisy here.

Here we are, the idiots on the right making every excuse for Limbaugh but quickly jumping on that Obama comment about "typical white person" that he further elaborated on and when applied in context referred to whites in his grandmother's generation not whites in general. Its funny how people jump up in an instant and call that racist but lack the balls to call Rush Limbaugh comments racist, cowards!

I cringe when Rush wanders over the line into poor taste and this particular monologue re the Oreo was definitely in poor taste and yes offensive though I honestly believe Rush was trying to be satirically funny instead of being blatantly racist.

But I resent that when it is sooooooo terrible when he cracks an inappropriate joke, but racist comments by those on the left merit only a shrug and a yawn.

What i find funny is how rightwing blogs don't condemn Rush Limbaugh and yet broadcast Herman Cain comments about Jon Stewart making jokes about him because he's black when there were no racist overtones, double standard.

Charlie, if you didn't have double standards, you wouldn't have any.

Do you honestly think Rush's comment merits condemnation? Do you really think he meant that maliciously or to put down a black person? Roll our eyes and boo and thumbs down, sure. It was offensive. But worth costing a man his occupation, livelihood, everything because he said something offensive?

And were you as equally incensed over the quotations I posted from other people who aren't rightwing conservatives?

Until we grow up and start putting these things into their proper perspective, the race wars will continue unabated. At some point we have to say that if it isn't okay for X to say it, then it isn't okay for ANYBODY to say it. But if we aren't going to condemn our own we are petty hatemongers to insist that the other guy be condemned.

I haven't demanded that ANY of the above people be condemned for their remarks. And they were all highly offensive.

Saying Rush is a racist is like saying the sky is blue.

He was punted from his dream job as a sports announcer because he couldn't keep is big racist trap shut.

In any case..so what?

Rush was hired as a commentator by ESPN, not a sports announcer.

Your opinion though is duly noted. But not all agree, including Allen Barra writing for Slate magazine of all places. "In terms of performance, many NFL quarterbacks should be ranked ahead of McNabb. But McNabb has represented something special to all of us since he started his first game in the NFL, and we all know what that is. (emphasis mine)

Here's the entire article

Rush was right about Donovan McNabb. - By Allen Barra - Slate Magazine

Whatever.

He was punted.

That's definitely not the worse thing he ever said either..it just was put out there for general consumption and generated an uproar.

Those of us who know Rush know it's par for the course.

You trying to say Rush is NOT racist?

What colour is Snerdly?

Rush is such a freaking racist eh?

You are now in the moron and despicable category today.

Snerdly is BLACK.
