Rush Limbaugh attacks 11 year old whose mother died

There's a reason why Liberals refer to people as "peons". Nevertheless, the Democratic Party cares for the "peons" the way Lenin and Stalin cared for the "little people".

Um, I'm not the one who first made that reference in this thread. I believe it was one of your folks that did. I was merely repeating her reference in commenting on what she said.

(Hint: Check with Stephanie . . . )

as I said, Liberals and Democrats care when they can use other people monies by force to do it. just look at welfare. it has done nothing but keep these people in abject poverty, running to their mailboxes every month looking for A CHECK. and yet you all call that, CARING.
you all and youR BS you care MORE. what a crock of shit.

Stephanie, all you have to do is take a look at the long-standing and very well known positions of the two parties on the major issues I discuss here (welfare, tort reform, labor unions and Big Business v. The Individual in general) and it is quite apparent which party supports the interests of the "little guy" and which party supports the interests of Big Business.

As I have often said, I don't judge - I just report. ;)

Well my dear, your reporting and judging is out in la la land.
My first vote was back in the 70's for a DEMOCRAT.
you might have an argument for back then they DID care for the little peons, but I have watched them EVOLVE into something that is totally unrecognizable. and it ain't for the damn little people my friend. if you can't see that, then you are a blind fool, sorry, nothing personal.;)

Really? How interesting. Funny - I was a registered Republican from 1958 until 1992. The Republican Party ain't what it used to be - neocons, you know? I should have gotten out a lot sooner than I did.

Obviously, we disagree on which is the party of the "little people" (I note you aren't calling them "peons" any more) and which is the party of Big Business. Oh well - I guess that's why you're a Republican and I'm a Democrat.

In any event, one thing I'm sure we can agree on - Happy St. Patrick's Day! :happy-1:

You can whine about being against big business all you like:
Democrats and what they're worth:
Jon Corzine Democrat Governor of New Jersey - $300 million
Herb Kohl Democrat US Senator from Wisconsin - $216 million
Jane Harman Democrat Representative from California -$215 million
Mark Warner Democrat Governor of Virginia and US Senator -$200 million
Bill Clinton and family Democrat Governor of Arkansas and US President -$109 million
Jay Rockefeller Democrat US Senator from West Virginia $79 million

precisely.

Why did he say "your mom...." if he was not speaking towards the child?

ROFLMNAO... So by speaking TO the child, then the comment is an attack...

You people are HYSTERICAL!

In truth, one can speak TO THE CHILD and in so doing, point out the deceit and fraud which those around the child are perpetrating...

But it is SO cool that you people are sufficiently honest to admit it.

Proving once again that Left-think is an unsound species of reasoning.

And the reason she didnt was because Obamacare was not in place. That's their whole point. Or did you miss that one?
But if Obamacare had been passed 3 months ago it still would not have altered the outcome. Which was Rush's point.
It is an illogical coupling of two different events that in reality have nothing to do with each other.

NOPE! The point was that if she had medical care available to her, she possibly would not have died at 27....THUS, you should support obamacare, because coverage for people like her with her circumstances, will be available in the future.

as i have mentioned earlier in this thread, i believe it is unhealthy for this little boy to be out there doing this during this period of grief and if i were his guardian, i would not let him do this.... the whole thing is sad.

Rush's comment to the little boy was UNCALLED FOR, none the less....he could have made his point in another manner....imo.

NOPE!!! Actually she did have medical care available to her, and she made the choice not to use it. So I'd say it's pretty safe to say that if she had insurance she would probably still have passed away. I mean even when she did have insurance she didn't go to the doctor. Then after she lost her insurance (which had nothing to do with her illness, but the fact that she didn't go to the doctor when she was employed therefore lost her job because she got so sick she didn't go to work) she still made the choice not to take advantage of the free health care that was available to her.

Rick
That boy's mother is so guilty of her own death that it is the next thing to suicide. Negligence. She had access to all the care in the world and didn't take it. Now we're supposed to be concerned and feel sorry for a dumb kid who is being used by the so-called "progressives"? He'll be better off in foster care.

Oh I love this rant... "Neo-cons" drove this former American RIGHT OUT OF THE GOP...

Watch how easy this is kids... Hey George... what about the NEO-Cons ran ya out of the GOP?

I'm specifically asking you to explain what it was about this would-be menace that so upset ya that drove your presumably paleo-conservative self out the door.

Enjoy...

Why start a thread about Lush Rimbaugh?
Everyone around here knows he is a former dope head Viagra eating whore seeking hypocrite.
Great entertainer and speaker he is. I listen to him often.
These days that is all the right wing fools need. They actually believe he is a leader of the conservatives.
Goldwater is rolling in his grave.

I love how you liberals never actually address anything someone says to debunk you. but instead resort to name calling as if simply by making fun of them you can marginalize their ideas. You can't form a coherant argument. Yet you think you're amazingly intelligent. it's amusing and mindboggling at the same time.

Typical wing nut.
I have not voted for a Democrat in 30 years.

i wonder how the young boy came to do this....was it his father's choice, his guardians suggestion?

Harry, I think there was a very valid point to be made in telling the public his Mom's story. And the point is that even it's too late to help his Mom, someone else's Mom can be saved in 2014. But we have to act now and not keep waiting or 2014 will offer as little hope as does 2010.

How is there a valid point? Even if health care reform bill had been in effect, she would have died. She recieved care. She died depsite recieving care.

How will this bill save lives? It won't. Im dreading this bill. If this bill passes I have no doubt that Im going to lose my insurance in the future. And I dont trust the government to take care of me. Nor do I want it too.

I thought my post was very clear. The point is that even if it's too late to help his Mom, someone else's Mom can be saved in 2014. But we have to act now and not keep waiting or 2014 will offer as little hope as does 2010.

You also state that she died even though she received care. The article said:

"The Times reported that Marcelas' mother, "Tiffany Owens, died of pulmonary hypertension in 2007 at age 27 after losing her health insurance because she could no longer work. Ms. Owens had been an assistant manager at a Jack in the Box restaurant."

I did not see anything in the article that said she received care. My understanding is that she was too sick to work and lost her health insurance, as a result. So she died because she could not afford medical treatment. If I missed something, please let me know.

Also, why are you afraid that you will lose your insurance in the future if this bill passes?? What exactly do you think will happen??? I also have insurance and I am under the assumption that nothing will change for me. My husband is a diabetic and nobody will insure him. That's the only thing I expect to change. He will finally be able to get insurance. His doctor bills are high, but the meds are so, so expensive. He is very fortunate that we can do it, even though it's difficult sometimes.
