Rupert's American Power in danger?

Let's remember that old Rupert is an American citizen as well....and if he's found guilty in the UK of any of the charges being brought up, that can well put the kibosh on his ownings and power in the USA

He's bloody lucky Congress is embattled with debt talks. Otherwise they'd be focusing on him, and hopefully calling for his head.

Traditionally, we wait for a conviction.... or even a trial.... or at least an arrest.... before we hang people in the US.

Hack

We're discussing the evidence at hand and speculating, genius. Pay attention and stop being a Cali Girl neocon hack, will ya please?

Then speculate using facts, not your partisan bullshit. Loser.

FoxNews won't toe the Dem Party Line, so they must be eliminated! That's what a Free Press means to Progressives. Free to regurgitate State approved news

Yes. It's a conspiracy by the Democrats to close down Fox News. They made News Corp hack all those phones and bribe all those Metropolitan police officers.

You have evidence of any Fox News hacking phones? Nope.

I never said Fox News did. Nice putting words in my mouth there.

Traditionally, it's not hard to see when someone is speaking figuratively, and not literally.

Apologist.

As you've aptly demonstrated, you don't have the intelligence to debate the facts honestly, Cali Girl. At best your debating "style" sustains rationality for a brief time and then deteriorates into a high school girl bickering.

Come back when YOU can debate the FACTS, or make a definitive statement regarding them, sweetie. Until then, go blow smoke somewhere else.

He didn't accuse Fox of doing so, genius. But keep in mind, if Murdoch takes the hit in the UK, that voids his ownership of Foxnews, as a criminal convicted of foreign bribery cannot own media here. Get up to speed, sweety.

Maybe all the other news organizations that supported Fox in that lawsuit will be exposed as well...

That would be perfect.

name them all would you?

:lol: I've named them on this site, in direct response to the same question from you... and you fucking ignored it.

You dishonest hack.

No chuckles, Hjmick named them....and when you're done with the faux hysterics, you'll note in the chronology of the posts how I put that response in perspective.

Stop being a neocon parrot and learn to THINK before you type, Cali girl.

There are also reports of The Justice Department launching an investigation into allegations of computer hacking by News Corp's American advertising wing, News America Marketing.

"News America was accused in a 2009 lawsuit of hacking into the computers of one of its competitors, Floorgraphics Inc., to steal detailed information about their sales, clients and finances. Floorgraphics said they first realized they were being hacked in 2004, when they discovered intrusions from computers with IP addresses registered to News America.

"The company claimed that their information was accessed at least 11 times over four months and that they started losing important clients to News America shortly afterward, leading to a round of layoffs.

There was an FBI investigation into the hacking allegations in 2004, but it didn't end up going anywhere."

What

It's probably worth keeping in mind Scotland Yard's immediate response to Murdoch's UK hacking operations:

"Number of pages of information about the phone hacking scandal that were sitting in a Scotland Yard evidence room: 11,000...

"Number of hours the head of Scotland Yard's first phone hacking investigation, John Yates, spent reviewing the documents before deciding they weren't worth looking into: 8

"Number of years before that evidence was thoroughly examined: almost 4

"Number of phone numbers listed in those documents: 5,000 landlines and 4,000 cell phones

"Number of phone hacking victims prosecutors initially identified in 2007: 8

Estimated number of total phone hacking victims: about 4,000 ."

The Phone Hacking Scandal By The Numbers - ProPublica

There's at least one other relevant number from the UK hacking:

"The number of people who have resigned over the scandal: 7, including 4 top News International executives and 2 Scotland Yard officers."
