I don't understand why leftist would be against such? A few million conservatives go to Wy and Mt to form a new nation=the socialist states of America can go all the way.

I guess they don't want to be "left" behind.
To pay for all the health bill by themselves.

Their plans seem to depend on taxing the wealthy and making people pay
who don't need govt to tell them how to manage their own health care.

Not to worry, at the rate this administration is going, the law abiding taxpayers WILL be declared illegal, and penalized in order to pay for others. While illegal immigrants will become legalized for coming into the country and staying here to seek benefits.

So we may effectively switch status!

Dear LL: Romney is a Moderate. The Tea Party was pushing for more conservative, and that's why he couldn't pull off unified support. Part of the reason Romney picked Ryan (instead of another candidate who could have drawn attention to the Latino voters) was to get support of the Tea Party he didn't have because he was too Moderate.

It is a shame for both the GOP and America to reject a good working Moderate. That just forces party leaders to go after EVEN MORE conservative people, instead of someone who can bridge these gaps and be fair and inclusive. By mislabeling Romney as one of the very conservatives in the GOP he has nearly alienated because of his tolerance and moderation, this keeps pushing the political divide instead of opening up the middle for more people to interact without pressure from polarization.

Such a shame, but it is the best tactic to use if the Democrats are more concerned about "getting elected" by playing these games, rather than uniting and serving the nation.

2. Police State / Patriot Act / TSA
3. monetary policy / inflation / the fed
4. The existence of a federal income tax
5. America's unfounded new 21st century principle of "All brown people overseas must die by drone."
6. the drug war
7. social crap.

Nope. Nobody is going to divide my nation up. And we intend to win from here on out. You see, the GOP is going to have to change it ideologies as the demographics of this nation change. Or go the way of the Whigs.

You see, in order to remain revelant, either the GOP comes back to center, and closer to what people like myself will vote for, or they become irrelevant and are replaced by a political party that will do that.

the difference here is that the 13 colonies were UNITED in their commitment.

NOTE: If even just the Border States united in putting together an immigration reform plan
(that included RESTITUTION for past violations and costs to taxpayers in each state,
if someone is going to qualify for earned amnesty) then we would have the upper hand
lobbying on behalf of States PAYING the most direct cost of unchecked handouts, including the murder of citizens and law enforcement and drug/human trafficking in our cities.

Mr Paul is by far the wisest and most honest man in Washington, maybe even the only honest man.
