But do he have a strong campaign supporting him, that can for instance pick up the phone and call old people without internet access?

Yes. He has a very organized campain. Where he lacks is in funding. The establishment can literally print as much money as they need to while Ron Paul recieves no corporate funding.

He has a very strong grassroots campain that is working well, the mainstream media ignores him though. Two hours at the gym this morning and FOX flat out ignored him. Talked about everyone but him.

Its Ron Paul vs established power, but almost anyone that knows who he is is supporting him.

At least, he is very popular with the youth vote and has a very conservative constitutional voting record that gives him credibility with the young. There is a ideological battle going on in the Republican party between those who disagree with his foreign policy.

He's not trying to win just a election, he is trying to change the course of history. Compare the 07/08 GOP debates to the debates this cycle. All the candidates are changing their platform talking about what Ron Paul was in 07/08.
