I made this post during the last election. Ron Paul out did all his Republican counterparts in Pork requesting and approving. He even beat some Democrats! He requested pork for his sparsely populated, low revenue producing, rural and in lack of a better word economically meaningless district!

Wouldn't demanding and approving $1 of pork be against Ron Paul's so-called fiscal conservatives ideology? Ronnie you can't have it both ways without being a hypocrite!

Senate:
(1) Thad Cochran - Fake Republican out of MS - #1 - $846 million
(13) Clinton - Why am I not surprise she is so high - $296.2 million (This is obviously before she became secretary of State)
(20)Harry Reid- Preach how wasteful the war is, but you waste $259.3 million yourself
(21) Dick Durbin - Please Sauerberg beat this guy (sorry to say Steve lost), he is bleeding IL dry - $256.3 million
(33) Ted Kennedy - One of the worst Americans alive (but now he is dead)- $192.1 million
(34) Lieberman - Yep he is still a Democrat -$149.4 million
(38) Kerry - $138.8 million
(60) Obama - I was actually pleasantly surprised how low he was. However, I am skeptical that it is so low because he hasn't been in office long and his campaigning has interfered with his senate job. - $97.4 million (obviously when he was a senator)

Bottom of the List with a bi $0 - that is not spending a cent for all of you slow people!
McCain and Feingold!
Now that is true fiscal conservatism!

The House
http://www.cagw.org/site/DocServer/H...pdf?docID=3022
in the Millions
(1) Wicker - $176.3
(3) Murtha - $159.1
(7) Biden - $139.9 (for his little shitty state)
(19) Pelosi - $91.2
(23) Hobson - $88

Ron Paul - $22.7 million- middle of the list not sure the number- I was very surprised. You would figure this guy would practice what he preach and spend nothing (like McCain did), but I guess he is just a politician. There were 276 representative that spent less, including 10 that spent $0

Here is a list of '08 presidential candidate that spent less than Ron Paul and the number of space they beat him by:
Tancredo - $17.6 - 52 lower
Duncan - $15.9 - 75 lower
Kucinich - $8.1 - 182 lower
Graves - $6.7 - 196 lower

Shocking Ron Paul!

Shocking Ron Paul!

Now that you've found that and you see the pork he received, go through the bills he received pork on and find out if he voted yes or no for thos bills.

I already know the answer, but you need to find it out as well.

Dig a little deeper, that's what's important.

He claps (meaning confirms) he wants to get rid of the CIA, FBI (doesn't Ronnie know the reason the FBI and CIA came about is because crooks would commit crimes specifically bank robberies and just jump over state lines! The problem was epidemic and a GINORMOUS problem; the FBI and later CIA were the SOLUTION), IRS (good luck getting any tax dollars), Fed Reserve (only sounds good in theory, horrendous idea in reality), DHLS (Naive at best when you realize we are at war with extremists) and medicare (Yep that is a great way to win over one of the highest turnout voters - the elderly)

Sorry, but this stance isn't going to win any independents and will scare off some moderate leaning Republicans! Ron Paul would guarantee another 4 years of Obama. Even more than a Sarah Palin would!

I'm an independent, I've been won over for years.

To me it sounds like independents are sick of the status quo, which is exactly what the romneys and huckabees of the world will give us, 4-8 more years of Obama.

Yep this clip didn't allow his full answers, but you get the point. It's not hard to take his arguments and easily turn off most people to him. The Independents and Elderly are needed for any Politician to win POTUS. The get rid of medicare and social security will likely get him 10% of the all important elderly vote. The get rid of Fed Reserve, FBI, abolish public schools etc will lose him the independents.

Paul takes step toward presidential run - Politics - Decision 2012 - msnbc.com

Looks like the good doctor will be making another run.

Nothing official yet, but it certainly looks like he will.

Currently he's a conservative republican with the backing of libertarians and the TP.

Question is; Is it enough, this time?

Ron Paul will run. I do not know if he is dumb enough to think he has a chance to win, or if he simply likes the publicity?

He does it because he stands on principle......which means he doesn;t stand a chance. He knows what is right and he speaks the truth. People don't want to listen. It's like asking a 5 year old who is sick if they want to take some bad tasting medicine or a piece of candy. They'll take the candy every time. Paul offers the medicine the country needs because he knows it is the right thing to do. The people like a 5 year old pick the candy each time.......and that is on both sides of the aisle. He actually stands for all the things that the other so called "conservatives" claim to believe in, but don't actually do.

I didn't deny that he gets pork, obviously he does.

Now back to my question and I'll add another one;

1.) Does he vote yay or nay on bills he recieves pork in?

2.) After he votes on these, and receives pork, what impact does that have on the budget?

No, it wouldn't, since that money is going to be spent regardless, since it's less than 1% of the budget, and since giving the people their money back in some way is better than giving it to the bureaucracy.
