He skipped the vote on allowing what HE calls "The Military Industrial Complex" to proceed.

He can be found under: "Not Voting."

The courage of one's convictions --> skipping the Vote that seems the Route of your entire Rhetorical Existence. Whoopz.

I found this video interesting.....

I dig a lot of things about RON PAUL but yeah.....he's still a politician.

This is already been discussed in a different thread. Why would Ron Paul fly back to DC to vote on a Bill that passed overwhelmingly? If I remember correctly 14 House members didn't vote.

To stand for something.

Why should he continue to vote? He has been voting for 20 years and it has made no difference. His vote in this would have made no difference.

What would make a difference would be getting himself elected so next year this bill will be VETOED on constitutionality.

This attack comes all the time.

Ron Paul doesnt make the rules of the game, he just has to play by them like everyone else. Government puts a gun to the heads of his district and steals money. He is obligated to get back as much of that money as he can.

The only way to stop the flow of money to the states is to shut off the flow of money to the federal government.

Would've been better for him to waste taxpayer dollars flying back to vote.

And to the Tim Russert nonsense, he votes against the bills, and getting money from bills that already have written into them that the money will be spent is hardly anything to point at and take anything from.

He tries to keep money from being wasted by voting against these terrible budgets, your beloved status quo politicians approve of it, so he tries to have the money wasted in his part of town to try to make the best of a horrible situation. That's your big "scandal" on Ron Paul?

Why would Ron Paul fly to DC to vote on a bill that passes overwhelmingly every single time then if it doesn't matter?

If Paul actually won the nomination, he would have a cardiac...or wet his pants. The stuff he spouts out is mostly science fiction.

The fact of the matter is that Ron Paul is all talk on the Liberty front. He always talks about how he doesn't want the federal government to do this or that but he has absolutely no problem with state governments being oppressive. Ron Paul is not a Libertarian, he's an Anti-Federalist who happens to hold a number of views that fall in line with Libertarians.

Maybe you should take a look at Paul’s full voting record... Like Paul voting No on the Patriot act both times...

Get a fucking life dude. If Paul is all talk and he has the insanely conservative voting record he has (yes Paul was ranked #1 in like the last 100 years as having the most conservative voting record) then wtf does that make literally every other person that has been in congress in the last 100 years?

It's not that Paul supporters are "crazy" or in love with Paul... It's that the Paul haters are so fucking stupid it inspires even the non Paul supporters to defend him as the truth is easily accessible.

If he was properly medicated, Ron Paul would not talk like such an idiot - especially on foreign policy.

And you'd prefer the Federal Gov't to be the oppressor right? Typical Liberal.

No, he wants the power that has been taken by the Federal Gov't returned to the States where it belongs.

Doesn't matter what he calls himself, or what label is placed on him. It only matters what he is, and what he stands for.

Says another nut for Newtie.

Maybe you can fly up into space with Newt to help him with his brighter nights mirrior project. You and the idea's man can do it!

Or maybe they can get to work with constructing the giant wall to span our southern border?

Or maybe we can start a national id card, and then hand the control of that over to the corrupt banking cartel that has already destroyed our economy, mired the country in debt, and concentrated power into the hands of a few bad people?

Or maybe we can start a war with syria, and Iran. Cause fighting in 6 countries just isnt enough!
