Well, first on style. This was a much better speech then he gave on the economy. He was both poised and relaxed. He articulated well and didn't give in to his usual tics and odd phrasing.

On substance, he did a bit of backtracking from his "self deporting" days just a few months ago. Now it's, "As President I will over a long term solution, not a short term fix". He's still inaccurate about Obama not doing anything, since in 2010, the dream act was put up..and filibustered. But he softened his attacks on Obama in regards to the economy. Now, Romney acknowledges it was in bad shape before Obama got into office. And he's seemed to drop the "but he made it worse" meme..and is going with the "it's not recovering fast enough" meme. All in all, it looks like he's fast coming to the realization that his "base" isn't going to cover it..in terms of putting him into the white house. But the danger is..it looks like another "flip flop".

But overall..I'd give this one a "C".

He probably didn't win any hispanics over..but at least they might give him a second look.

Obama made the move to sellout the country in hopes of future votes from illegal’s. Unconstitutionally I might add.

Mitt is still trying to play both sides.

Neither care about fixing the problem by doing their job and upholding the constitution. The fact that we are in this position proves how bad Amnesty works out in the end, it proves that if you don’t enforce the law no matter what you do you will end up with deficits due to pandering and buying votes.
Health care to education, jobs to crime illegal immigration is at or near the top of wasted money as it’s one of the biggest negatives… Yet politicians worry about the next election 4 years away and if they will lose a voting block of illegal’s that might be able to vote in the future.

Things keep getting worse for the US, so absolutely we must continue doing what we are doing.

Which is exactly what Rubio was trying to find... and what Romney has always said... unlike that Vote Whore Obama who - without regard to minorities - blatantly uses them with his cheap, pathetic, short term 'vote grab'. What is really funny... is that you think hispanics won't see Obama for what he is.

vote grab?

dear partisan fool.

doing what 2/3rds of the country thinks is right is not a vote grab.

its doing what 2/3rds of the American people want done

Again..2010. The Dream Act. Filibustered.

Rubio isn't "trying" to find anything. As a Cuban..he and other Cubans enjoy a special status in the US. Get your butt to shore..and you get stay. Simple as that. Sound weird? Well sure. So is most of US immigration law. You rich? You want to be an American? Well you can broker a deal with a US official to open a business..or invest..and viola! Green Card.

Obama didn't do anything "cheap". Was there some politics involved? Sure. But he was urging congress to pass the Dream Act. They didn't. Rubio didn't put up any alternative to it..although he promised to do so.

Well..the President acted.

Dear idiot,

Doing something unconstitutional because you think the position of President is equal to that of King is still unconstitutional no matter how many people you want to claim back you up. What about that 1/3rd minority in your bullshit made up "fact" of the day scenario? See TM, this is why we don't live in a democracy where mob rules. We live in a Republic where we elect politicians who are (lol not anymore) restrained by the constitution they swore to uphold, so we don’t end up with a King.

How is Obama upholding the constitution by playing King TM? Should Republican Presidents be allowed to play King when Democrats don't give them what they want TM?

So, doing what 2/3 of the country want is good, yes?

So, us doing what 2/3 of the country doesn't want, is bad, right?

Don't try and dump Obamacare on her, she won't understand. It's R vs D for TM, that's about all that matters, party over country for TM.

Shaking the Etch-A-Sketch?

No one can take serious, any opinion in which the word 'filibustered' was used, when speaking of having majorities in both houses.

Is it an American dream? Than why the fuck are we even discussing it?

Well he left out the "Self-Deportation" part and the "He would veto the Dream Act" part.

So yeah.
