I started laughing when she says clear as a bell that Romney (Sr.) was a refugee from Mexico and was on welfare relief for the first years of his life. Just more "I got mine" hypocrisy.

I think she HELPED his campaign. His mother talks about her husband's humble background, a homeless refuge who needed government assistance. She went on to detail how he was able to break the bonds of poverty and dependence through his own efforts eventually acquiring substantial wealth. This is a rags-to-riches story that is pure Americana. This video is one of the best campaign promotions I have ever seen and if I were Mitt Romney I would want everyone to see it.

Romney's dad proved two things: (1) not every rich person was simply born with a spoon in his mouth (as most liberals seem to think); and (2) welfare doesn't have to be a way of life if one has the initiative to become independent and successful.
