Romney's approval among Indies falls to 23%

First Read - As primary war wages, Romney's support with independents dips

I agree with Amelia that his numbers will go back up after he beats Newt, but I'm skeptical of his appeal to independents in the long run. His policy positions are relatively moderate, but independents care more about personal characteristics than about political positions. Romney has proven fairly easy to paint as a professionally unprincipled, politically amoral, out of touch rich guy.

Could the contrast be any greater between the guy who looted American companies and shipped their jobs overseas and only pays taxes at a 13% rate, and our president who wants the wealthy to pay taxes at a higher rate.

Romney is the poster child for welfare for the wealthy.

Why should the idle rich, who don't work, pay taxes at a lower rate than people who do work?

Romney's unfavorablity rating among independents is now 51%.

Favorablity rating is 23%.

Ouch!

Romney is toast.

He couldn't even handle an interview with Brett Baier.
