A lot has been said about Romney care and it being the basis for Obammacare in an attempt to make Romney look like he should approve of Obammacare because it's just like Obammacare. Most people miss the BIG difference between the two. Romneycare is a STATE program NOT a federal progran and that is exactly where it belongs. It is a state issue and Romney was right to create a program for his state while governor. Good program or bad it is a state issue NOT FEDERAL.

The problem is, that's pretty much the only significant difference between the two. And if Romney's only objection to PPACA is that it's applied at the wrong level (and not that it's a corporatist giveaway to the insurance industry) then I can't trust him to lead the nation.

Nice obfuscation.

I agree. Its a STATE issue. Not a FEDERAL issue.

There are several STATES who have voted STATEWIDE HC programs in. Vt comes to mind along with MA.

No way should the FEDERAL GOVT decide for the whole country on HC.

As seawytch, says they dont get "nuance"...liberals have a tough time with it. They are blinded completely from any honest discussion on any topic.
