Romney won the middle class by 6 point. People making under $50K went to Obama 60-38

Go Figure. The food stamp president will continue, if not increase the culture of entitlements and government dependency.

Trying to get the far greter ammount of working poor people to vote for the rich is a lot harder than they thought. Apparently insults seem to drive them farther away. Their policies were designed to create more working poor, they have succeded. But by doing so they have obliterated their own base, and religion can't even save them anymore. The Democrats appearing on the NRA list is growing and soon that won't even be a partisan issue. The people are rejecting the religious, your on your own, big government of the Republican party.

Yes... too damned bad we let them poor people vote, isn't it.

Hey, guy, people's votes aren't less valid because they make less than a certain amount of money, and they aren't less valid because they aren't white.

Romney is the KING of white, well-off America.

Luckily America is more than that.

Until the GOP stops alienating women, working people and minorities, they are going to KEEP LOSING ELECTIONS and they will deserve to.

Euro, you have been misinformed about the median incomes of people, ergo you might be misidentifying what the MIDDLE CLASS really is

You seem to think the median income for individuals is around $50,000.

It isn't. That's about the median FAMILY income.

The median income for ALL WORKERS in the USA is:

The annual median wage fell in 2010 for the second year in a row to $26,364, a 1.2 percent drop from 2009, and the lowest level since 1999, according to David Cay Johnston at Reuters.

So what those stats are really telling us is this

Mitt won the confidence of individuals whose incomes are nearly TWICE the median wage for all workers.

I have no problem believing that Mitt won more of the votes of the upper-middle class, incidently.

I suspect that Obama won the lower-middle and the middle-middle class of voters.

Basically those people can be described as the WORKING poor and that now describes about 75% of all American workers.

He actually won by 8 point margin:

Less than $50k: Obama +22
$50k or more: Romney +8

How is the GOP alienating women and still gets 56% of the white women vote?

By the way, 40% of latinos making $50,000 or more voted for Romney

Other than greedy or heartless businessmen, who is interested in bringing more unskilled poor immigrants?

Do you know that America is the 6th country with the largest projected population growth? And the only first-world country in the top25:
Howard Steven Friedman: 10 Countries With the Largest Projected Population Growth: American Exceptionalism

Of course liberals think it's great: more poverty, more government, more votes
