Mitt and Ann Romney in D.C. for ?social visit? ? CNN Political Ticker - CNN.com Blogs

Just saw a bit on TV news where he announced to this group, "We lost". Brilliant.

And, as this shows, he apparently has a sense of humor about the debacle that was his candidacy:

According to one participant in at least one of the events, Romney said he would "stay involved in the policy debate," that he was "proud of the accomplishments" and noted the "innovation" of some Republican governors.

"We lost - our attempts to win an election by insulting 47% of the electorate failed. Perhaps if we shoot for insulting 60-70% of the electorate, next time we will win."

Obama won by 4%.

Pretty fat margin of victory, both in what was being misreported by Gallup and Raz as a close race. In fact, it's a nice margin of victory, compared to many elections past, and not only in an election where the split nationally was supposed to be real close and polarized.

Go figure.

Obama won by 4%.

Not only did Obama win by 4%, but he lost the middle class vote, won the the 1% vote, and won decisively among the welfare vote.

Much better then losing the popular vote first time around..and getting appointed by the Supreme Court.

No?

Or, stated in more succinct terms, CHEATING.

And, since it worked so well for one brother, the other will probably try the same tactic in just a scant four years.

Romney was rich and got into politics
Obama got into politics and became rich

Still crying over spilled milk, after 12 years, and innumerable references on everything under the Sun as Bush's fault.

Give it a rest already! I hear it time and again in reference to the 2012 election, addressed to Republicans: You lost, live with it.

Pardon me, but you Democrats lost in 2000. Would you try to live with it after 12 years?
