When you leave your people there with inadequate security that is walking away when the now dead ambassador voiced his concerns about the security to the administration and nothing was done that is walking away. PS embassy or consulate does not change the fact the security was inadequate the concerns over it by those one the ground were not addressed and four people died because of it. Again if the administration was deeply involved in Libya as you say this would not have happened.

Maybe we could get farther if you'd actually address your "walking away" comment and not just repeat this week's FOX talking points.

How would arming the Syrian rebels do that? FYI that is pretty much what Obama did with Libya the problem being once the dictator was gone he walked away from Libya and we all know what the result of that was.

Its the first step in the road to conflict in that country. Besides, how do you know we are not covertly funding arms to them anway.

It is the same old repub song. If Obama had given them weapons, Mittsy would say we are meddling, but since he didn't he says we need to do more. He and his handlers are just itching to get another war going to replace the Iraq disaster...The war along with his "disavowed" 5 Trillion dollar tax cut would send us deeper into debt.

If Mittsy is elected, we will be in Afganistan at least another 4 years. Count on it!

Susan Rice, Obama's UN ambassador has been arming them for over a year.

She also oversaw the same thing in Libya.

There were rumors that one of the reasons Chris Stevens was in Benghazi was because he was trying to negotiate a disarming of locals to prevent violence.

We had armed them to help take out Quaddafi and then turned around and wanted to disarm them.

To be absolutely fair, it was Jimmy Carter who started that brain fart.

Reagan just doubled down on the policy.

The thing is, would a post-Assad regime be any friendlier to the US or Israel (not that I personally give a shit about Israel) than the current one?

History and the philosophy of these people would indicate they wouldn't.

A radical Islamist regime, right next to Israel.

It should also be pointed out that it was NATO that intervened in Libya, not just the US. NATO wants no part of Syria and for good reason.
