With Romney intending to release only two years of his tax returns wouldn't it be far more exciting if Romney released the return, one page at a time? And if he really wanted to make the return the center of his campaign, maybe he could sing again. This could turn out to be a new type of presidential campaign, Romney singing "America" as the tax return page is revealed inch by inch throughout the day on big screen TV.

did he retro actively fix them?

That is still not the five years Americans want.

Robmoneys application will go to the bottom of the pile if he refuses to fill it out properly

Americans care about picking ourselves up and dusting off from Owebama's failed Presidency.

Libtards want to talk about other things.

LOOL

All it shows is that Romney knows the tax code, while all obummer knows about it is how to read a speech about the rich not paying enough of it.

I try to get out of paying every dime I can, and anyone who doesn't is a fool.

America cares about this sort of thing:

GAS PRICES SET RECORD AS SUMMER DRAWS TO A CLOSE

OIL RISES FOR 3RD STRAIGHT DAY, TOPS $95
OIL TOPS $94 PER BARREL ON DROP IN US INVENTORIES

The price of gasoline is setting a record as the summer draws to a close.

AAA says drivers paid an average of $3.72 per gallon Monday, which is the highest price on record for Aug. 20. The auto club says more daily highs are likely over the next few weeks.'

News from The Associated Press

Good luck getting Joe Blow to focus on Romney's tax returns, Libtards!

Only Libtards care.

America is interested in someone who can clean up Obama's mess.

I hope they can get the stain out of the Oval Office.

It will take a minimum of a 100k to remodel the office after Obama turned it into....Brothell, drug den etc..... Brown on brown on brown....

Loser from the word go........

That's what Obiedopey likes. He wants high prices because he thinks it will force alternatives. What he doesn't get is the average Joe will cut back and it has a detrimental snowball effect on the economy.

Less trips to the mall, no dining out, no vacations by car...etc.

We've seen how the public embraces the Volt for example, haven't we.

It was Romney’s father, George, who set the standard during his own presidential run in 1968 by releasing 12 years of tax returns. Every presidential candidate since has lived up to that measure of financial transparency.

Romney has faced mounting scrutiny regarding the contents of his tax returns, and the Obama campaign has pummeled him for not releasing more of them beyond just two years. Senior adviser Ed Gillespie deflected suggestions that the Republican presidential nominee has anything to hide, saying Romney has applied for an extension on the 2011 return in April and would provide more information by October 15, shortly before Election Day.

Most everyone else can get their taxes done on time but this guy can't?

Nobody cares. We need people who are good at numbers to save the nation.

Really, you honestly believe Romney got one over on Obama's IRS and escaped prosecution? Ridiculous.

In actuallity Romney has only released the tax returns for a single year, 2010. One of the two years he has supposedly released, 2011, we have not seen the copy back from the IRS, just a copy of supposedly what he sent to the IRS although that may or may not be the case. There is a candidate running for President who has released at this moment one year of tax return and your fine with that? Yeah, he's great with numbers: "one stupid Republican, two stupid Republican, three stupid Republican,... hey there might just be enough here to get elected."

Thank you for the clarification. To pull out the part from the page of most interest:
There have been several major presidential candidates to release fewer than 12 tax returns:

• In 2000, George W. Bush provided nine and Al Gore eight.

• In the 2008 primary, then Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., delivered seven, a move that was matched by Hillary Clinton about a month later.

• In 1988, Massachusetts Gov. Michael Dukakis released six years of returns.

• In 2008, McCain released two years of returns, as Roberts said.

• In 1980, Ronald Reagan offered up just one return.

Prior to 2009, wealthy people put money in Swiss bank accounts as tax havens. Due to the fact that the Swiss banks were not cooperative with the IRS, the IRS had no way to know who was hiding money overseas.
In 2009, the Swiss banks agreed to release the names of their American account holders to the IRS. the IRS offered amnesty to any taxpayer who disclosed forign bank account information, although fines would apply.
Thousands of wealthy people took advantage of this amnesty.
These people were tax scofflaws.
Why won't Willard release his 2009 tax information?
We know that in 2010 he declared his assets in a Swiss bank.
Did he do so in 2008?
Did he seek amnesty in 2009?
Is Romney a tax scofflaw?
