Romney is weak with Tea Partiers and social onservatives and strong with economic conservatives and null on defense, though I am sure he would go witht he DoD for anything that lets his butt-buddies at Bain make more money.
So common wisdom suggests he needs to pick someone for VP that would bring him strong support from social conservatives and Tea Partiers like Palin gave McCain.
But I doubt he will do this because Romney is an arrogant, antiChristian Megalomaniac who thinks he will win anyway, and is more concerned about not being upstaged.
Fuck him. I hope he picks some Yankee RINO to be on the ticket.
It will make voting for Obama that much easier.
The 800 pound gorilla in the room is whether the GOP can keep Tea Partiers and the social conservatives from bolting from the party by 2016.
