Romney needs to get to his act in gear

We haven't seen the barrage of ads attacking Obama's record yet. Be patient.

That's incorrect.

We have.

And Romney, on the campaign trail has attacked Barack Obama on religion as well.

He's also taken up with a birther..Donald Trump.

So far..so bad.

The Koch Brothers and the Casino owners will buy tens of millions in ads in all the battleground states reminding people what a historic fuck up Barry really is.

Bank ATMS?

Why would Conservatives want a more negative campaign from the presumptive Republican nominee?

We should be hearing them complain that Democrats and the scary Liberal Main Stream Media monster chose their candidate for them!

But Conservatives flourish in an atmosphere ripe with fear, hatred and division. Us vs Them and the "Them" is always some form of evil: Communists, Socialists, Muslims, Liberals.

What those Conservatives fail to understand is the greatest percentage of the country does not share their zeal and blood lust. The rest of the country does not appreciate their flavor of partisan-ism.

Go ahead and get 'nasty'. It will marginalize your candidate and your 'movement' and reveal the ineptitude of those who think compromise is spelled with four letters.

What a sack of shit. Like the left is any different.

Negativity sells. Attack ads work. Plain and simple. You can pretend to take the high road all you want but we all know that is bullshit.

Trailing in all of the battleground states

what does he need to do????

Theres nothing he can do except hope the President stumbles. Badly.

The reason he has fallen out of public sight pretty much and the reason he barely says anything except the stump speech (the thesis of which is "Obama is bad") is because he cannot do anything since now people are listening for the flip-flops. His positions haven't captured the imagination of the voters and now he can't tweak them given his past lineage of flipping and flopping all over the place.

It's instructive that a fellow Republican or a fellow Republican's supporters put that video out. Yeeow!

He needs a game changer; no doubt. It doesn't necessarily need to be a person; perhaps an outside issue to come up accidentally/on purpose. The problem is that he's been running for office for 10 years now and he has staked out a position on most of the issues that could come up. He can't pivot from any of them.

"Designed by East German scientists to be the perfect android politician"....Yeeow X 2.

Vice President? I'd be happy to see him pick Dr. Rice. But even there he has a problem. She's waaaaaay more qualified than he is for President. You don't want the #2 to overshadow the #1. Selling that is going to be a problem. As much as he needs a game changer, it may be his last and only hope to move the needle on his own. A safer political choice for him would be to pick a "strong and steady" governor/senator from the midwest but I doubt he can find one who can stomach him. Perhaps go totally off the boards and fill the #2 slot with a moderate Democrat?

17% Unemployment record debt deficits and poverty IS stumbling badly

I suppose the voters will decide that come November. In the mean time, has anyone one seen the Governor lately? He seems to be keeping a low profile these days.

He did a fundraiser in Buffalo NY the other day, and he is currently vacationing in New Hampshire with his family for the 4th of July holiday, unlike spending America's Birthday in France, like Mr. Soetoro is.

Ahh...thanks for the update. Is the Governor planning on campaigning after the Holiday? Perhaps spell out some of his policies sometime before November?

Who will Romney chose as his VP running mate?

My choice would be Christie.

That's an interesting choice. I'd take Jindal in a heartbeat. That's my druthers, but I like Christie too.

Hey, bright side, we have so many good choices out there. :D

That is because everyone that you conservatives liked choose not to run for president!!

Of course you are going to have a big pool of VP candidates. But I bet Romney picks someone that ran against him in the primaries. Like Pawlenty or Herman Cain.

Right! Embrace the low road! Here's the analogy: if you lay down with dogs, you get up with fleas.

I would suspect there is plenty of time. I think he is doing a splendid job of allowing Barry Soetoro to twist in the wind, and sink himself.

Obama Fluffers... so predictable

It must be wesome ranking below abortion waste frank. You hit that bar a long time and never looked back huh?

Romney is doing the right thing. obama is driving himself off a cliff, wait to see where he lands before launching an attack. Right now, Romney is raking in more money than obama AND he's spending less than obama. This is good business sense. In the days before the election, Romney will have a substantial sum to spend and obama will be broke. His burn rate is already more than he takes in. It's too early to be spending like that. The more he spends, the more he needs. By the time the run up comes, obama will have asked the same donors to come up with more money than he is wasting now. obama is one more scandal away from failure, one more crisis away from failure and one last donor fatigue away from failure.
