The RCP spread average has Mitt at like near double over Newt Gingrich with Ron Paul in a distant 3rd place in their N/H poll...

RealClearPolitics - Election 2012 - New Hampshire Republican Presidential Primary

This is in stark contrast to the RCP average spread in Iowa that shows Newt Gingrich at a STRONG 26.3 to Romney's 15.0...

RealClearPolitics - Election 2012 - Iowa Republican Presidential Caucus

...& even more amazing, despite taking a terrible pummeling in the media is that Cain is in a CLOSE 3rd place to Romney!!!

Anyone thinking this will be one of the more 'wild rides' in the annuls of GOP primaries???

Of course Mitt has the lead in NH. He has been campaigning there for over a year. Over all though NEWT is in the lead. Mitt cant with with just NH

Keep in mind, Mitt had a heavy lead in New Hampshire in 2008, all the way up until the point that McCain came out of nowhere and beat him.

Mitt is the Emperor's New Clothes. Everyone says he is "electable" and 'inevitable" and they think that if they keep repeating that stuff, it becomes true. And if we don't see it, then we are just too right wing or anti-Mormon bigots or whatever charge they want to throw out there.

Until someone cries out, "The Emperor has no Clothes."

Or maybe he has "Magic Underwear".

Here's the bottom line. Most Republicans don't like Romney, don't trust him and think he has kind of a weird religion.

As far as "electability", Romney has lost most of the elections he has ever run in.

The only one he won was against a non-entity where he outspent her 10-1, and even then, he only got 49% of the vote.

Newt, on the other hand, won his congressional seat a dozen or more times.

I don't think the guy ever lost an election.
