Rassmussen is doing its perenial dash to the center on the day before the election. They are calling the popular vote a tie and most swing states too close to call

PRINCETON, NJ -- President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney are within one percentage point of each other in Gallup's final pre-election survey of likely voters, with Romney holding 49% of the vote, and Obama 48%. After removing the 3% of undecided voters from the results and allocating their support proportionally to the two major candidates, Gallup's final allocated estimate of the race is 50% for Romney and 49% for Obama.

Romney 49%, Obama 48% in Gallup's Final Election Survey

Why do so many here post various poll results(many questionable on how they were done) on multiple threads? They all seem like "neener neener" threads.

If election votes are sometimes corrupt or fraudulent why would anyone trust poll numbers?
Gallup and Rassmussen are both saying Romney 49 and Obama 48. Some say Ohio is favoring Romney, although it wasn't that way a week ago.

All the pollsters agree on one thing, though--that it is too close to call right now.
