Romney kicked Gingrich's ass tonight!

Yeah he did.

Cant believe Newt was attacking Romney for investments in a blind trust. As if Romney has control over anything they invest it. That's the whole point of it being a blind trust.

I dont think that Newt was expecting the audience to be more energetic for Romney when he and Mitt were going at it. Probably why he stopped going after Mitt later one when he had some of his better responses.

And when Mitt pointed out that Gingrich also had investments in Fannie and Freddie, that was great.

Newt's come back was that his investments weren't as large as Mitt's?

Trying to make hay out of ordinary investments, the kind millions of people have with their pensions, etc. So dumb.

Newtie has always believed that the average American is too stupid to check on his lies.

I agree mostly, but I feel Newts thinking on Nasa is by far the best.

I think Newt would gain much more ground "if" he would push for mining corperations to get into the business of moon, mars and astroids. This way not only would we get many spin off from putting men on both, but also would start going after resources and growing our wealth.

If you think that the only place that has resources and wealth is earth. Then I feel sorry for you because space has a 9.0x10^100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 times the resources then this little planet.

Worried about fresh water? Well, the asterioid belt and europa are a few places with fresh water that would last thousands of years!

Worried about running out of mentals---Moons, asteriods have it.

There is unimaginable gold, diamond, iron, ect to be mined.

Who's to say that we couldn't make it profitable.

If I was newt, I'd do this, but then allow a science lab on the mining base. A town or city could be built around it. You can't do that until you can make a profit and have a job to do so. So this fixes many things.

If humanity is going to go to the stars this is the way we must do it.

Romney completely pwned Gingrich on the investment thing.

Notice how Gingrich decided to speak directly to the audience and tried to pander to them about their foreclosures?

Gingrich was trying to deflect from his work for Freddie Mac and the shit blew up in his face, big-time. Romney was totally waiting for him on the investment thing.

Beeeeeeeeautiful!

It is about time people caught on to Newt's shit.

Watch the fun here: Gingrich hits Romney on investments (3:25) - The Washington Post

Click on the links in my signature. See how Gingrich praised Freddie Mac in 2007 and then lied in 2011 and tried to paint himself as a hero who told the GSE what they were doing was "insane". Total fiction.

In the video link above, Gingrich says he told Congress not to give money to the GSEs in 2008.

He was singing a completely different song a year earlier.

He was paid to advise Freddie Mac's top lobbyist how to get bipartisan support for the GSEs.

Romney is absolutely correct that Newt was promoting Freddie Mac.

And the "tiny mouse with a giant elephant" comment was pathetic. Newt was busted, hard, and he knew it. Look at 1:30. You could see he was gobsmacked.

That's a horrible idea... We need spending cuts and to fix the economy. Trying to get companies to rush to asteroids for mining is like 20-10000 years off.

Newtie has always believed that the average American is too stupid to check on his lies.

unfortunately, he's right

The problem is Dems won't care to look them up, they will just not like him. Independents will mostly look into it and end up not liking him. Then there are Republicans, about 30% will look him up and a good size block won't support him in the GE.

Newt is butt-hurt tonight. He's feeling it.

The more debates, the more truth that will become known about him.

As for the space thing, he's pandering to the Cape Canaveral crowd. Imagine him doing that, times 50. Writing taxpayer checks in every state of the Union to buy votes.

THAT IS EXACTLY HOW WE GET BIG GOVERNMENT!

if he is the nominee, the repubs might as well turn out the lights and concede now. and that includes the house and senate
